SoulCalibur V fits the bill if you want a quick duel against a friend via the online or offline mode, but to be honest the unbalanced character roster, bugs and lazy design is offputting. Project Soul promised us so much more, but the end result is disappointing.

A monopoly style boardgame that does very little to make use of the interactive possibilites of the medium. The presentation is somewhat uninspired and although the basic formula is entertaining, the game never takes it to the next level.

There's no real reason to buy the PlayStation Vita version of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 as the touch-screen controls are both simple and repetitive. The home console editions are both better and cheaper.

The customisation options are the main focus in this portable golf game, but apart from that the game treads on very familiar ground. I'd hold out for an inevitable Tiger Woods game if I were you.

Little Deviants isn't much more than a technical presentation of the Vitas capabilities, and the quality of the minigames is uneven. Some are a real treat, whilst many others seem like a right chore, and there's little motivation to continue playing after the story has been completed.

Army Corps of Hell will most likely drown in the flood of other launch titles for Vita. It contains lots of fire, heavy metal and demons – but all in all it catches my interest for about just as long as it takes to listen through a Judas Priest album. And I'd rather spend my time doing that, to be honest.

Kinect Star Wars has come a long way since it first was shown at last years E3, but it's still far too simple to leave a lasting impression. The controls are solid though.

There is nothing that's really bad about Wheels of Destruction. The problem is that nothing is really good, either. It's not a horrible game by any means, just an average and uninspired vehicle combat game.

Silent Hill: Downpour is yet another half-decent survival horror game in a series that, just like many other horror series, is waiting for something to happen. This eight episode of Silent Hill is acceptable and interesting enough to take you all the way through, but on the whole as a game - not much more.

When you name a game Hard Lock and the mechanic with the same name is the worst part of the game then it's time to rethink your strategy. Otherwise it's a decent action orientated flight game with a good mix of missions, but with way too repetetive gameplay.

A digital boardgame with a few tactical twists. Fantasy-tropes are plentiful but we have to give extra credit for the original Mechanork character. However, the game gets boring quickly when playing against the AI, so we can't understand the lack of offline player vs player option.

There are very few things that Inversion manages to do that others haven't done better before, but there is some entertainment value in the game that makes bits of it a nice experience. Otherwise it's just mundane.

With only seven levels and a very thin soundtrack I am somewhat underwhelmed by the nostalgic remake that is Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD. The lack of local multiplayer and a faulty online experience make this a very average XBLA game with a lot of unused potential.

Doesn't quite live up to its own potential, and is ultimately bogged down by some poor gameplay decisions. It borrows and repurposes core gameplay ideas from previous games, adds a few new ideas into the mix – but the end result doesn't quite shine as brightly as it should. At worst, it feels like a hodge-podge of ill-suited ideas glued together in the most superficial ways. But the storyline delivers a good conclusion to the previous side tracks and builds up a lot of anticipation for the next main game.

Test Drive: Ferrari Racing Legends is two-sided coin. On one side we have an interesting journey through the history of Ferrari, with beautiful cars that feel unique and fun to drive. On the other side we have been extremely frustrating game that sometimes doesn't even make room for the smallest mistakes and offers circuits with graphics well below average.

A fighting game without multiplayer or storytelling that makes sense without reading 42 mangas can't be seen as an finished product and should definitely not be sold for full price. This game is only for fans.

This is a game that would fit better on a mobile device rather than a dedicated handheld. It's not a bad game, but it's just hard to justify a purchase at the current price point due to its lack of content.

A strong heritage results in a bland mix of mini games. To only include three competitive games (which happens to be the best thing in this compilation) is just insane, especially when the majority of the others goes from "pretty okay" to "horrible".

Chaotic action can be fun, but Fuel Overdose takes the concept too far. Local multiplayer would be an obvious highlight if it actually existed, but the lack of that and the sloppy controls, annoying camera and boring levels makes this game somewhat frustrating.

When the surprise of all pop cultural references fades I start to see past the gorgeous graphics and the awesome music, and the disappointment sneak up on me. Retro City Rampage walks the line between being a brilliant homage and a generic copy, and in the end it relies too much on the ideas of the games that came before it.

Chasing Aurora is a beautiful game that can be fun to play together with four friends in short sessions. The price is a bit steep though, and the game gets repetitive fast and it doesn't offer much for the lone player.

The Sims 3: Seasons doesn't offer as much content as we're used to in the earlier expansions. Although, the different weathers, new holidays and return of aliens do offer some fun that can't be found elsewhere in The Sims 3. But it is way too expensive considering how little it changes the gameplay.

There's nothing wrong with Alien Breed for PS Vita; it does exactly what it's supposed to. But games that old should retain its original level of difficulty in order to keep the old school player interested.

Offers plenty of exciting ideas that could have resulted in a great game, but unfortunately these ideas get lost among the many problems the game has. Zombie Studios should return to the drawing board, adjust the game’s controls and learn how to design good levels. If they do that, Team X 2 might be the game this one fails to be.

Impire is an RTS dressed up in the clothes of an dungeon builder. Even though the initial presentation is appealing, the lack of interesting mechanics sets it up for rather monotone and dull game-play in the long run.

Even though some games like ”Games” and “Islands” are really fun to play a few minutes, the majority of Game & Wario is a big and utter disappointment both to Wario-fans and gamers that liked Nintendo Land. I like the idea of multiplayer sessions without the need of buying any extra accessories wiimotes or nunchucks though.

Farming Simulator does an excellent job of simulating farm life. Sadly that does not make a great game. The romantic view of the farmer life style is quickly replaced with mind numbing and hard work with few high points and rewards.

It's more clear than ever that Sega doesn't know where to go with Sonic. The game tries to do a lot of things and end up failing at most of them. Those of you who want a great platformer for the Wii U should just pick up Rayman Legends or wait for Super Mario 3D World.
