Free Time is so uninspiring compared to some other Sims add-ons. The combination of developing your hobbies, making a career and maintaining your Sims is a difficult one. The add-on adds little to the concept. Only for Sims-addicts. -

Be careful what you wish for. Everyone who wondered why ModNation Racers wasn't a LittleBigPlanet game to begin with, gets an answer. LittleBigPlanet Karting misses a lot of the elements present in ModNation Racers, a few of which are spunk, depth, well implemented social elements and well-built editors for karts and racers. Even the narration of Stephen Fry can't save this disaster.- Posted Nov 11, 2012

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed could have been a great game, however it doesn't live up to its premise. The story and physics give a new dimension to the Star Wars franchise, but the countless technical glitches and shallow gameplay make this game a huge diasppointment that's not worth your money. -

When a succesfull game is ported to a different platform it doesn't necessarily means that it's going to work. Especially with a game like the Buzz! series. Ment to be a party game, there is not mucht left to party on a PSP when you're all by yourself. And handing over your PSP in the multiplayer modus isn't going to fix that. This Buzz is going out with a sizzle. -

A breakdancing rhythm game without any gimmick to make it stand out from the Guitar Heroes and Rock Bands of this generation. The strange thing is, the button presses you have to perform are not in line with the rhythm at all! A low difficulty, even lower satisfaction level. Do yourself a favor and let this one pass. -

What looks like an open world, is in fact a closed snowfield that only gives you the illusion of freedom. -

Had the Playstation 3 version of Lost Planet been released as a launch game of the console, it would probably have gotten less critisism. In the meantime many better games have passed it by, which makes this one just another shooter. No one will get sleepless nights from this title. -

The first Still Life was a breath of fresh air in the old adventure genre, but the second game is a mess. The story has no tension, puzzles are confusing, the menus are disorienting and the game suffers from bad animation and terrible voice acting. -

Universe at War: Earth Assault is a bad game, just as simple as that. The controls work, but the framerate and camera ruin the party. So again we keep waiting for a good strategy game on the console. -

Wolfenstein 3D gave birth to the first person shooter genre, but failed to deliver a great game. The remake offers, at most, a little hint of nostalgia and some form of history lessons, but can't hide the fact that the game nowadays isn't fun enough to actually pay for it. And besides that, there are plenty of good alternatives. -

Too Human wants to be everything, but ends up being nothing. Buggy controls and no challenge whatsoever take out a lot of the fun. And fun is why whe play games. For an action RPG the game lacks any form of RPG depth and the action part isn't strong enough to carry the game. What remains is a dull and tedious game of killing monsters. Too Human lacks any humanity. -

The series had some good games but this latest addition doesn't convince us. The storyline and fighting are simply poor. The movements just aren't right. The developers probably had good idea, we just don't see them in-game. -

Worms: A Space Oddity is another uninspired game which brings nothing new to the series. The special Wii-controls to use weapons is funny, but also very gimmicky. Besides that the space theme brings absolutely nothing special, unless you've always wanted to blow up blue worms. -

3 on 3 NHL Arcade is not a very bad game, but lacks some fundamental gameplay elements. The controls are, in combination with the specific type of gameplay, far from practical. On top of that, the idea of being a funny game never quite makes it with the decent look. What remains is the question: What did EA Canada had in mind when they made this game? Whatever the answer may be, it won't be enough to salvage this title. -

This version of Ghostbusters is a poor port of the Wii version with a plethora of technical and gameplay issues. Fans are better off picking up the game on the Xbox 360 or Playstation 3. -

This is a brain trainer done bad. Even though the concept is good enough, the game does not offer any form of fun or challenge. Even the target audience, young students and seniors, won't really enjoy themselves. Dutch language is also missing, which makes this difficult for some people. -

SOCOM Confrontation feels like a dud. It feels like an old and unfinished product that will make few gamers happy. In the end SOCOM has little to offer to justify a purchase. Except when you are truly a SOCOM-fan and are willing to look beyond the flaws. -

The action in Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days is weak, without impact and uninteresting. Not very fortunate when the game revolves around action. The game can be played through in just about four hours. -

Poképark Wii Pikachu's Adventure is a disappointment. Instead of an adventure you receive a never ending stream of tedious chores. The variety of attractions that are unlocked make the game bearable, but nothing more than that. -

SimCity Societies with its expansion Destinations doesn't offer you enough new stuff to keep you going. This title seems to be aimed at people who love the Sims series, because it uses elements from that game as well. Be warned, this game is very repetitive. The essence of the series seems to be lost. -

Velvet Assassin is in one word: weak. The story never reaches its full potential and furthermore the technical side is flooded with flaws. And even though the game has its moments of tension, the game fails horribly in being worth your money. Try to sneak past this one if you can. -

It’s almost like Taito didn’t know why Arkanoid is fun. With Space Invaders Extreme they really went in a new direction and made a great remake of a classic game, but Arkanoid DS is too conservative and the innovations that are there only undermine the concept. -

The most important reason why Beijing 2008 doesn't work is that the events become plain boring after a few tries. After an hour of playtime your fingers will hurt from the button bashing. The multiplayer is alright, but you would do well to spend your money elsewere, unless you're a complete (Olympic) sportsfan. -

Need for Speed Undercover is a big step backwards for the series. It's almost as if the franchise has the same disease as FIFA had a couple of years ago. EA promises a lot new features but in the end there just isn't enough to justify a new game. Thankfully the FIFA-syndrom offers perspective, because after a few mishaps the franchise has produced an instant classic. That's why we keep hope for a worthy Need for Speed game in the near future. -

In 2010, Guitar Hero: Van Halen should have never been released in stores at full price. It’s absurd. We’d rather applaud you to wait for the release of Guitar Hero 6, since Guitar Hero Van Halen has the same lack of content as it has lack of love for our frettapping guitar legend. Or as Eddie would probably put it: Aint Talkin’ Bout Love. -

God Mode tries to vary, but fails to do so completely. It comes down to being a game in which you'll shoot a lot of enemies, mindlessly running towards you. Which is as exciting and original as it sounds: not at all.- Posted May 13, 2013
