It was a really good idea to get some developers from the original-game. They did a pretty good job in bringing the great pc game X-COM: Enemy Unknown into the year 2012. The views and the optics are not high end but they are perfect for this genre, while the speakers, the loading-times and the multiplayer mode are weak points. The gameplay is deep and tactical and the good old XCOM-setting is omnipresent. Enemy Unknown is the remake of the year.

In a way, it's more exploring a virtual theme park than an actual game, but that's a good thing. Kids get to explore the amusement park 2.0 at their own discretion. Simple fun with their favorite attractions or go on a big adventure, exploring everything – it's their choice. A second player is more along for the ride than anything, but the look, the Disney atmosphere and the beloved characters' voices are all there.
