A collection of unforgettable classics in videogame history. Unfortunately the number of games offered is meager and the new 3D games don’t add much fun to this package. Nine old classic games aren’t enough to compensate for the otherwise lackluster content.

NBA Ballers: Chosen one is a game all about super dunks, slick moves and fancy dribbles. Unfortunately Midway has missed out on one essential ingredient necessary in all great sports games: getting the player interested. With bleak graphics and shoddy controls, not even playing with a friend can help this game from being utterly mediocre.

As a production this is definitely a slick piece of work. The graphics look good and there is a generally good sense of humour and atmosphere in the game. Unfortunately, the actual boxing mechanics of the game doesn't work well at all. It's not broken per se, it's just simple to the point where you know the game inside and out after only a couple of matches.

At first, this might strike you as a decent movie tie-in. Take a gander under the hood and you'll find abhorrent camera angles, an incomprehensible plot and catastrophic AI. This is a poor effort of a game and you'll do better to just watch the movie instead.

Yet another party game for the Wii. You'll get to take part in sports like frisbee golf, cricket, volleyball, soccer and American football. Precious few of these are any fun, and the overall experience lacks the polish you expect from a retail game. Steer clear of this one folks.

Although this title is playable it won't leave a lasting impression. The plot is incomprehensible and the presentation looks dated. The experience being a short one is actually a good thing in this title which you'd do well to avoid.

Once and for all the iconic figures in the Mortal Kombat franchise squares off against the heroes and villains of the DC Comics. It's a novel idea and done right it could have been an interesting reboot of the Mortal Kombat franchise, but alas it isn't so. The violence has been toned down and gameplay wise it's just not that much fun or varied. It can entertain for a short while, but at the end of the day the only redeeming thing about this game is the ability to play as (or beat the crap out of) your favourite character in either Mortal Kombat or DC Comics.

Samba de Amigo was originally released for the Dreamcast and has now made it's way to the Wii. With a maracas in each hand your challenge is to shake to the beat as best you can. The motion sensing abilities of the Wiimote does unfortunately present itself as an obstacle to the experience. On higher difficulty levels it makes the game almost unplayable. As is, this a decent party game at best.

This is a game that doesn't take itself or the videogame industry seriously. The main focus here is humour and taking cracks at stereotype content in different gaming genres. There are some laughs to be had here, but since the game is utterly mediocre in every category it tries to make fun of the overall feeling is that the parody aspect is just a way to mask a poorly executed game.

Messing around and being violent in a bear infested game world is fun, for a while. The same thing goes for the game's humor. When the initial wave of entertainment is over you're left with bad gameplay mechanics and repetitive content. Despite an initially entertaining tone this content is not worth the asking price.

Quantum Theory is no Gears of War, although it may look like it on the surface. The game simply lacks the polish. You could call it repetitive, bland and uninspiring, but that's not enough. It is playable, but it's just not any fun.

Bakugan: Defenders of the Core features some decent fights but the overall experience makes it a real bore to play. The graphics are plain, the sound isn't properly mixed and the story is being laid out in front of you in a very confusing way. This makes this game a fans/children only. It can still be pretty entertaining to play versus a friend though.

Kinect Adventures could have been that perfect part game for Kinect, instead, we get a game with only five game modes which doesn't work properly. The physical space required to play this game can also be quite a problem, and if you're two people playing you might have to rearrange the room a lot. There isn't much to do and after a while, it doesn't feel like there's even a purpose playing the game.

The game is bundled with a Wii remote plus controller so you might think this platformer is a delight to play. But the main problem with the game is in fact: the controls. It's very inaccurate and it'll usually make you frustrated. The game has some fun moments, and it looks pretty good, but it's short and some levels are really dull.

Beyond: Two Souls is a capital failure as both a story and as a game. The adventure plays itself and the player is left to push the right buttons in the right order. The story you are rewarded with is a mess of odd writing and poor directing choices from a game creator that obviously wants to create great art but seems to be incapable of doing so. Even fans of Fahrenheit and Heavy Rain should prepare for what is unfortunately a monumental disappointment.

Everything that made the series unique has been removed and replaced with a story focused game that no one asked for. The sixth movie in the Harry Potter series was a great and entertaining experience - something that can't be said about it's videogame adaptation. The core premise of the game is built around three monotonous minigames that are repeated throughout the game. The one saving grace is that the adventuring and exploring are somewhat interesting and the musical score is great.

Summer Athletics offers us a number of track and field challenges that in almost every case fails to be interesting, or work especially well for that matter. A lackluster career mode and the absence of online play via Live is just another nail in the coffin for this game. My Sims should never have made the transition into a party game. The main flaw here is that it, quite simply, is no fun at all.
