Layton's latest adventure is his best for the time being. Same graphics, different sounds and a completely new storyline is very much what players are going to find in The Diabolical Box, a game that has nothing but fun to offer every player that have the guts to get over with more than a hundred puzzles and a compelling story. One of the best games of this year without any doubt at all.

Path of Exile is a great alternative for the lovers of classic 'hack & slash'. It's an entertaining title with an interesting gameplay and completely free. The game is able to rival the great current references in the genre, despite just taking its first steps. Path of Exile has clear objectives and has managed correctly oriented toward them. Its use of the familiarity with the genre will capture the attention of many aRPG players in exchange for losing originality.

Although some editions of Football Manager are defined by including improvements in dribs and drabs, this is not the case at hand. The new game cares for both traditional users and those who seek an experience equally comprehensive but willing to sacrifice some complexity in exchange for a faster management. Football Manager 2013 is a complete network of choices that allow us to simulate the most realistic behavior of clubs and competitions, ever seen. It should be mandatory for almost every football coach.

A pure act of love. This is what Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Which is for both Studio Ghibli lovers and gamers who want to embrace again that old fashioned, classic spirit from the RPG genre of 16 and 32 Bit generations. The makers of Spirited Away and the creators of Dragon Quest VIII -Level 5- join forces in a visually constant Tour de Force that contains one of the best scores ever written for a videogame and a battle system that mixes turn-based with real time action. One true jewel of the PlayStation 3 library.

The effort of Team Ninja and Nintendo working hand-to-hand on the development of a new Metroid iteration is mainly everything a fan of the series could've expected - Isolation, action, love and thrill... Other M's a trip into Samus Aran's mind and feelings. Meanwhile, the gameplay is successful when trying to offer some fun, something that's worth trying. It doesn't matter if you're a die-hard of the franchise or just a curious newcomer, Metroid: Other M hits the spot just where it had to do it, and that's basically everything we've asked for after so many years willing to try some new 2D action based on this heroine.

Shogun 2 is like a melting pot for all the ideas, gameplay and concepts we've seen in the previous games of the Total War series. Its pillars are quite similar to Empire's, but this game has improvements in many areas, and the setting is so charming, that it feels like something unique.

Atlus' latest game for PlayStation 2 is with no doubt a masterpiece for this console. It takes the genre far away from what we're used to seeing nowadays. It's not the best JRPG so far, though, but it has all it takes to become an instant classic. If you're willing to enjoy a never-ending game with a immersive story and a lot of characters to deal with, do not hesitate, this is your best choice.

The Last Guardian is a blast from the past. From when Fumita Ueda marveled us with the relationship between Ico and Yorda, or the fights against the colossi. Uncharted 3 is the seal to one of the best franchises of this generation. Packed with intense action scenes, as usual, the script is the most exciting we've seen in the series so far. The superb graphics allow the game to show incredibly recreated locations such as the desert of Arabia. The multiplayer is much improved, becoming a real alternative to the main game. The only problem? Not as good and surprising as the second game, and a slow beginning.
