Nintendo Land tries to evolve Wii Sports with a mini games compilation based on well-known franchises and using the Wii U GamePad in a creative way. It's not Mario Party, but it works as party game and a unique experience in the console line-up.

Team GrisGris delivers a chilling experience that is not to be found on any other handheld, though its graphical appearance is outdated. Corpse Party is one of those games that you should own if you're looking for a different experience than former 'horror-stories' that we've tried so far on PSP.

Battleforge is an interesting hybrid that arrives to the PC market with options to became a game played by lots of people. Mixing elements of RTS and MMO, it packs an impressive number or game cards that the player will treat as creatures, spells and structures. Featuring a cooperative-competitive gameplay, and lots of elements directly taken from the massive online games, it quickly becomes a fun entertainment. Either collecting the cards with the micropayment system or getting them as reward for the gameplay, Battleforge is a fun experience, whose only downsides come from the nonexistent balance of forces at the game.

MotorStorm: Pacific Rift features everything that made the original successful: wild, arcade races with plenty of vehicles to choose. This time, besides, it's done with so much detail that the experience feels fresh and new. 16 different tracks, doubling the original, and with very clever course designs counting on which kind of driver are you. And, of course, a better multiplayer, both online and offline. Definitely a very good refinement.

Mesmerizing. Fascinating. Magical. Hipnotic. All these adjectives can be used to describe Dear Esther, a new playable indie experience that escapes from the boundaries of traditional gaming, putting us in the middle of an isolated island where we'll be the main character of our own victorianesque EA Poe's ghost, sadness and loneliness tale.

After a long development time, Monolith has been able to offer a great adventure that makes a really convincing use of Wii controls. The game offers an impressive amount of situations, asking for different movements in each occasion which enriches the gameplay and makes it unique. Unfortunately, visuals are not on par with its quality and the scenarios are too linear and lack variety.

For a small price, those who have not yet experienced Colonization can enjoy it now for what it is: a real classic in the 4X genre; the experience is more or less the same and the mechanics are as clever now as they were in the original one. For those who experienced it, it's a nice update with a well put interface, a good way to keep playing it without the mandatory use of DosBox.

Supreme Commander is dead, long live Supreme Commander. Gas Powered Games has decided to made important changes to the sequel of its massive RTS, giving it a better pace and a more pleasurable experience while offering a rich set of options thanks to the strategic development tree. But to achieve that, different aspects that made the first title such an unique game are gone, including the grand epic of the gigantic battlefields and several hour battles. Even so, this games proves to be an excellent entry to the genre, with a good amount of nice design decisions and a intense flow.

Dawn of War III is really a tryharder. While we are years away from the RTS' former glory, it can't be denied that the guys at Relic know how to manage themselves in the genre and bring us a game that truly delivers.

Rune Factory is no less than a Harvest Moon or a typical JRPG game. Its outstanding graphics are just another way to justify the incredible amount of objects and diary labors that gamers will be able to live after day 1. Don't ask too much to the story though, it's quite simple, but it's still interesting enough to keep players focused on their main focus: earn a living.

Fun and engaging, Resonance of Fate is a unique experience. So many things to be done, with a lot of side quests, a deep combat system and charming characters. Possibly, the most original JRPG in years, but it's too complex and frustrating. Only for hardcore JRPG gamers.

Destiny is a good FPS from Bungie. However, it isn't the definitive fusion between shooter and MMO we expected. Great gunplay, good enemy AI and full of content, but missions can get too repetitive and the endgame needs more variety of objectives.

Despite of being a World of Warcraft clone, RIFT is definetly a good and recommended MMORPG for those looking for a "themepark" experiencie. It is filled with plenty of content, and it is almost bug-free, so Trion has definetly achieved what they were trying to: a good, complete and polite massive online game.

FIFA World Cup 2010 offers a better gameplay and a faster game than FIFA10. There are some improvements to be found in the gameplay itself, and its visuals and sound are great. Also, the game modes specially crafted for this competition are good. Despite having just a few teams and some issues with aerial play, this is the most realistic FIFA ever made.

Despite its looks, quite similar to the Smackdown franchise, Legends is a very different game. It has all the charm of a huge bunch of timeless stars of the WWE, and it offers a more dynamic and faster gameplay. Unfortunately, it's rather short: its game modes are just a few hours of fun, before relying just in the Exhibition modes.
