Brink is destined to be a cult classic (on PC), for us fans of Quake Wars. Has no single player value but high entry difficulty due to tight team focus and sprawling maps. Good, but not nearly as damn good as Quake Wars. I like Brink but it is no wonder that most gamers don't. [June 2011]

Return of the premier tactical wargame series to World War II is marred a bit by clunky camera and some big UI issues (no grand unit list after ten years, really?). But the game beneath is solid steel, and the additions of new Combat Mission engine good. If only the game would cover more than three months of combat. [June 2011]

Mists of Pandaria harkens back to the good old days of WoW, sometimes even a bit too much. The leveling up experience is great and Pandaria as an area looks fantastic. New little things like pet battles and handling your own farm are surprisingly good fun. The real problems lie at the end of the game where everybody is forced into grinding daily quests day after day since there are no other ways of getting reputation anymore. The new talent and glyph system is also very bland. Thankfully the new instances are as fun as always, even if they do not help at the reputation grinds anymore. [Sept 2012]

A decent expansion to a good series. Innovative setting or exciting plot has not been Nival’s strong side previously, and Tribes of the East is not an exception. It however is more enjoyable gaming for the warlord who hasn’t yet got his fill of the original game, with familiar mechanics and a few new additions to make it feel fresh enough. Some scenarios feel a bit too restrictive at times, a trait familiar from the earlier games too, but not so much as to take much fun out of the game. Dropteam gets better and better with every patch. The game offers a strong, realistic vision of war in the future, but has one minor problem. It is mainly geared for multiplayer action with only a few players in the USA. Dropteam needs a strong single player campaign to escape Planet Niche. Do not waste a game this good only to multiplayer! [Sept 2006]

Reservoir Dogs manages to capture the look and feel of the movie even without most of the original actors. The episodic structure works well and the idea of not having to shoot anybody in the action parts is great. A short but fun experience especially for fans of the movie. [Sept 2006]

Yet another decent add-on for The Sims 2. However, the theme is not as interesting as the previous two, and sometimes it feels like there are too many things for the virtual people to do. [Mar 2006]

San Juan is a nicely flowing card game, where you try to optimize your production. The game takes it's cues from the board game Puerto Rico. [June 2013]

A lot of fun when played online, but the single player mode feels lacking. The impressive multiplayer Neroimus War could still use some play balancing, and the game is needlessly trying to please both the sim and the arcade crowds at the same time. [Sept 2006]

Medal of Honor: Airborne brings some very nice ideas to an already dead genre. Without the embarrassing enemies and the harsh difficulty level this could be the best MoH game to date. [Sept 2007]

Call of Duty 3 takes a step in the wrong direction. The graphics are awesome but the gameplay is too restricting. Normandy was a bad choice, since it has been done far too many times already. Multiplayer is great fun, though. [Dec 2006]
