The characters are all there, including Jeffrey, as are the moves. But, it all comes across as a somewhat mediocre fighting experience, with just a standard arcade mode to play through consisting of no story, and a bluetooth only Vs mode. You'll soon bore of it quickly.- Posted Jan 27, 2011

I really wanted to like Halcyon, especially considering its pedigree, but it just doesn't feel like a polished experience. The difficulty and visuals need to be tweaked before it gets any more playtime.- Posted Jan 30, 2011

Sure, there's an occasional boss fight thrown in for good measure, but that's about as interesting as things get. The bosses were probably the most enjoyable part of the game, but overall the experiences with them were brief.- Posted Jan 31, 2011

Despite the occasionally smile as I evaded the cops and launched into a slow mo speed jump. Fast & Furious: Adrenalin is a lackluster affair. In trying to concentrate on raw nitrous fuelled speed, I-play have dumbed down the overall package.- Posted Feb 12, 2011

Although there is a great variety of levels, and the idea behind the game sounds like fun, Steve Young Football still falls pretty short on the whole fun aspect.- Posted Feb 22, 2011

If you are looking for a word game to play against a friend on the same device it is still a decent investment, as it is more or less the only option available as of today. It is not recommended if you intend to play it by yourself.- Posted May 16, 2011

Every facet of Silent Ops - be it the action, controls, graphics and presentation, it's online offering and most importantly it's gameplay - they all have one thing in common, and that's that they have all been done far better before.- Posted Aug 2, 2011

Warm Gun is a real let down. The game does looks great, controls well if you select single-stick mode (a la Gameloft shooters), and when it works without connection issues you'll have a fun shootout. However, with very limited options (death match only), only four players (3 plus you) and an inconsistent, lag infested, online experience, there is little in the way of a game to recommend right now.- Posted Oct 21, 2011

The experience isn't that rewarding, and in the end you might feel that you actually wasted bandwidth downloading the 422 MB. Freemium games can be good, but in the case of Six-Guns it feels like a way to avoid spending time writing a proper story.- Posted Dec 12, 2011

I'm quite surprised Chillingo published this, it's sub-standard compared to their usual quality, particularly after we gave them the 'Studio of the year' nod just last week.- Posted Jan 9, 2012

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 just feels like a lazy port, because that is exactly what it is. It seems as though Capcom was just trying to cash in on the hype behind the franchise, which is disappointing because they did such a good job adopting Street Fighter to iPhone.- Posted May 14, 2012

Rock(s) Rider feels unfinished at heart with a lot of fancy stuff layered on top. After hitting the head of the rider twenty times in a row without realising that the obstacle was obscured by a beam in another layer I had to conclude that I wasn't having any fun at all.- Posted Jun 1, 2012

The core mechanic of tapping people to fine them gets boring very quickly, the graphics are unattractive and basic (although new towns are interesting enough to look at that they retain some charm), the music loop is one-note and annoying and unless you're up for spending your own cash on IAP, you're forced to play the same levels over and over until you get enough coins to progress.- Posted Jun 24, 2012

I would have preferred the game to be all athletics with a focus on the more technical events such as pole vaulting, high jumping and long jump. The selection on offer now is so eclectic that it makes little sense, and playing a championship is not a coherent experience at all.- Posted Aug 1, 2012

I can see how Guardian Cross could easily be someone's favorite card or freemium game on the App Store, but it just isn't mine. I don't find myself making interesting decisions that are then borne out in gameplay.- Posted Sep 24, 2012

As basic and cheesy as 'Bounder's World' is, you might end up really liking it. Ignore the score and just drink in the music. It'll make you want to rip your eardrums out and hurl them at a passer by, but it'll make you feel young, happy and hopeful again. How many games can lay claim to that?- Posted Jan 11, 2013

The developers of Wanderer shouldn’t have expected the virtual joypad to work, and it doesn’t. All of the art and fancy lighting in the game don’t make up for the fact that it is a highly simplistic arena brawler with shoddy controls.- Posted Feb 24, 2013
