Although the game could have been further improved, because PSP is a more powerful machine, it retains the excellent gameplay and narrative of the original.

Years have passed since the first game, and Dead Space 2 doesn't surprise us as much as the original did, but it has reinvented itself very well. The main character and its new situation help create interest and surprises, and offer us much more. And, again, it knows how to create that thrilling tension which makes it a great horror game.

The best choice if you want to enjoy this adventure. It's the very same game, but making the most of it. Adapted to the DualShock 3 and PlayStation Move controllers, Okami is still a game we recommend you to (re)discover.

It is not the best Mario game in the last years, but it is great as a portable Super Mario, one of the best portable games ever starred by Mario. Despite this, we think this game could have been even better, as Nintendo has always achieved extreme levels of quality will its major series. Anyway, a must-have for 3DS owners.

A great game that will keep players in front of the screen for hours, specially the most dedicated and competitive one. It has not evolved too much from its predecessor, but it was hard to do so without ruining its essence.

Guild Wars 2 has a lot to offer, and on the top of that, it's technically and artistically amazing. It innovates, offers a unbelievable PvP (with a unique combat system), it is localized and doesn't rely on subscription fees. The success of Guild Wars 2 relies on its future, even though right now it's one of the best PC games so far, and it will work for experienced players or casual ones.

An outstanding puzle game, that starts slowly but evolves quickly, becoming very addictive. A great start for Intelligent System on the 3DS and at a great price.

Hands down the best card collecting game available. The rules have been revised, the decks balanced, and the new collection will delight fans. Its iOS adaptation is great.

One must-have compilation. The first reason for this is that the three games are great ones, and shine in HD, especially MGS3, who can stand the comparison with some current games. If you have played one of the titles, or even the three, there are still good reasons to play again some of the most influential console games of the last generation.

A design masterpiece that is always challenging us in a different way, combining simple platforming, puzzle and action, and with an oustanding visual design.

This is a wonderful strategy game, one of the best we've ever seen. A logical evolution of the concept of the veteran series that has achieved great results.

Empire Total War is outstanding in all its features, one of those games which are enjoyable from beginning to end. You could hardly stop playing for weeks. It is a cliche to say it, but Creative Assembly have truly surpassed themselves; Empire: Total Wars is one of those masterpieces no videogame fan should let escape.

It's not as fresh as Origins, but it is indeed bigger and better. If you like, or liked at some point, platform games, you shouldn't miss this one.

2K Sports raised the bar very high last year, and we though it would be very difficult for another entry to surpass it. Fortunately we were mistaken, and it improves almost everything from the previous game, with new and revamped game modes, basketball legends and more fun matches. A must-have.

This expansion completes what was already one of the most important games of PlayStation Network, and it should be in all racing fans hard drives. A must-buy for any player who have enjoyed Wipeout HD.

Bigger, longer, better, funnier, and the list goes on and on. It comes closer to perfection, and even though there's still room for improvement, Borderlands 2 will be one of those game we'll remember in a few years when we think about "the previous generation".

Don't think for one moment that The Beatles Rock Band is just a new title in the series. The Beatles drew the masses in their time like no one before, and when you start playing this title you feel yourself submerged in this sparkling sensation.

If you didn't like Assassin's Creed 2, Brotherhood will hardly convince you, but if you are one of the series followers, this game is a great sequel to the previous one. It polishes its mechanics and includes many things to do in the city, and it adds a very enjoyable multiplayer mode which brings some freshness to PS Network and Xbox Live.

It is not a game for everyone, but From Software can again be proud of producing an instant classic in the action-RPG genre, which will be talked about for years. It is not as surprising as the original Demon's Souls, as we had great expectations for this spiritual sequel, but it improves on it and becomes one of the greatest games of the year.

Cave Story is one of the bastions of independent games, and its Wii port offers something else than just charging for it. Its new features are worth the money it costs: revised sound and graphics, a well-made difficulty system, good control and some extras both for veterans and newcomers.

Although it may seem that Guitar Hero 5 is just an update of the last year edition, the truth is that the new features, the improvements in the interface and the track list make it the best installment of the series in the last years.
