While The Flash’s adventures are obviously based heavily around special effects, this series continues to keep things grounded, and the fight scenes remain as exciting and well choreographed as ever. The premiere may be heavy on character development, but it also prioritizes action, and that’s not a bad thing.
OK, for people who stopped watching after season 3 need to start watching again, i mean this season is to me the best yet i mean they had Damien dhark, vixen, Constantine, the island flashbacks got really interesting and mystical, i liked Olicity at first but at times i really didn't go for them as a couple, my favorite part is that this season is truly green arrow show and Oliver is slowly growing into green arrow: THE BEARD, THE COMEDY (like the flash) and so so much more. THIS IS SO TRULY MY FAVORITE SEASON, thank you.
This season is by far the best one, the team is better than ever, felicity is back to her old self, the villain is menacing and smart, the tone change is a breath of fresh air after three seasons of plain old darkness which in part is because oliver and felicity are together, Oliver is slowly becoming the green arrow we know from the comics and im glad to say im gonna see it unfold in front of me, this is by far my favourite show on tv!
Arrow’s venture into mysticism is generally effective, with strong story arcs (Oliver as Mayor, Legends of Tomorrow setup & Damien Dahrk) and a compelling villain overshadowing the show’s tendencies to prioritise poor character arcs, corny dialogue and weak episodic villains.
The fourth season was a new low for this fantastic show. The season overall is just dull, the acting isn't great (which is surprising considering the past 3 seasons), and the fight sequences are just slow. I still love Stephen Amell as the Green Arrow and Niel McDonough's Damien Darhk. Overall, the season has some redeeming qualities, but is just slow and dull.
Again just hell and no! Weak villain, silly magic, side kicks everywhere. Just go back to the Arrow and Diggle formula like season one and two. Keep the drama tight, focused and the action realistically grounded. This is even worse than season three and to take part of a quote out of this season. Can someone make the Arrow great again? Personally I am not sticking around to find out next season. So done with this crap show now, bye Arrow.
I really don't know how much more of this I can take. I have this weird suspicion that the actors are in control of the story and writing the script as they are filming. It's day-time soap quality dialog. "Do you want to talk about it? Resurrected siblings are kind of in my wheelhouse." The cross-over episodes make the Flash better, but they make Arrow worse. There is something about the chummy, non-threatening tone of all the shows on the CW that makes my eyes roll and my hands clap like a simpleton all at once. I think I'm clapping my hands less and less these days.
