The Pilot is incredibly wrong, seriously there is no other way to describe it. It is basically a bad version of "Touch" with worst story and much worst acting. The story is very very lame, it is impossible to keep focusing on it after just couple of minutes. Cast is so wrong and acting is terrible. Even the action and fighting scenes are ridiculous. This is what I thought from the first minute of the show. GREAT idea, terrible writing. The escaped Con, on the run, that goes into a vegas casino with 3 billion cameras pointed at him, swaggers up to a craps table, amber alert child 2 feet from him. Do they even have a conscious person in hollywood these days?

Let's look at the over the top acting. The lead character is over the top with his disdain of the little girl. He is over the top with his disdain for the asian agent. The only character that is even believable in the whole show is the Black gentleman's (sorry I can't remember anyone's name, even after watching 2 episodes back to back.).

In a tale as old as time, a cute child with some kind of supernatural ability is being hunted by a powerful entity for their own nefarious ends. However, it's a pretty poor take on the kid-with-abilities-who-helps-random-strangers narrative. 'Touch' quite frankly did a better job at it. This show does not get the @TVMeatgrinder stamp of approval. Zzzzzzzzzz. What's in this week's episode? Oh look - there's an amber alert and they're evading everyone while mostly failing to hide in plain sight! OK - how about next week? Let's see - there's an amber alert and they're evading everyone while mostly failing to hide in plain sight!

Wanted to like it but it is boring. Kid gets mad throws a car, run from police, etc. Slow and if wanted would watch the movie Fire starter. I'm done after four episodes. No plot movement, acting is ok, but same thing diff episode.

What’s extremely effective is the relationship (and chemistry) between Sequoyah and McLaughlin. You will find yourself rooting for them and hoping nothing comes between them.

Believe substitutes mawkish sentiment for character development and thinks mysterious incidents and procedural beats constitute a story.

Sequoyah is an appealing presence, doing what she can with an impossible wonder-kid role. And Cuarón is incapable of creating a boring shot. But he won't direct every episode. The only actor in the pilot who seems to be having any fun is Sienna Guillory as a hitwoman.
