It's hilarious and even funnier this year than last.
  2. It means there's finally something good (and funny) on Tuesday nights.

The first two episodes contain strong subplots about staff downsizing and rolled-back pensions, indicators that Ted is doing a better job of folding real-life resonances into its silliness.

This season, Ted seems to have a looser, even goofier vibe, and it plays to its actors' strengths more consistently while also giving plenty of screen time to my favorite characters, insecure research scientists Phil (Jonathan Slavin) and Lem (Malcolm Barrett).

Ok so Better Off Ted can be oxygen-deprived. This is still one of the funniest shows on TV, and the cast sparkles with vets like Harington, Barrett and de Rossi...Anders and Slavin, too.
  6. The droll office comedy Better Off Ted could have quickly turned into a one-joke bore. Instead, it sails into its second season tonight as one of the best sitcoms on television.
  7. Not only is it funnier than its lead-in, it’s improved on its impressive (and sadly truncated) first season on ABC.
  8. It's even funnier than I remember.

Ted is a seriously wacky show and deserves to be seen.
  10. With this cast, and the writing of Fresco and company, I expect Ted season two to again hit the heights of that first season. But these two episodes are a reminder of how hard it is to pull that off.
  11. The show remains a chilly affair, which will probably limit its acceptance but for viewers who appreciate satire, particularly of a modern workplace, it's difficult to imagine a show on the subject that's funnier than Ted.

This show cuts clean with a razor sharp dark and satirical humor that's like a diamond bladed scalpel being used to slit someone's throat a humor most Americans don't find funny but, this show has done just that for Americans made this dark humor so funny that it makes you feel like it's impaling you with a shiv. Much better than the first season, still a brilliant set of jokes, fast paced, and definitely a shame it was cancelled. The drawback still comes down to character development though, theres not alot that changes in the office in the two years, except a kiss you wait two seasons for. Full Review »

One of two comedies that I not only routinely TiVo, but also feel confident that any friend I bring over will enjoy watching. This is high quality comedy all around. Full Review »
