The Belchers get to highlight each family member well but the kids get the biggest laughs. Recurring appearances by Kevin Kline and Megan Mullaly are also well used. This is really the funniest season to date.
Awesome show. Very funny without having drug, violence, or sex references (most of the time.) The characters are awesome. New and fresh show, something different IMO. I love it and hope it doesn't get canceled.
An exceptional first season and an excellent, albeit short—9 episodes—second season, Bob's Burgers eventually became one of the smartest, funniest, and memorable animated sitcoms in recent years. While Seth McFarlane's long-running Family Guy continues to show no sign of substance beyond shock value—Asians and **** all act according to their signature stereotype, we get it—and The Simpsons... well, it's the father of all animated sitcoms and like all fathers, they lose shape, Bob's Burgers' has well-established its sense of humor without exploiting its adult rating.
The voice actors' deadpan delivery of some of the series' weirdest lines yet—Tina Belcher has become one of my favorite cartoon characters of all time—is Bob's Burgers' greatest highlight, especially in season 3. Though character development hasn't dug down into the depth and originality of, let's say, Futurama, each member of the Belcher family received their own starring role without ever outshining each other. The obscure pop culture references—references to Topsy, the elephant and Rorschach from Alan Moore's Watchmen included—and witty dialogue are the icing on the cake, or in this case, the condements on the burgars.
A hilarious and massive 23-episode 3rd season. The lovable and crazy characters we have come to know and love are back, and are constantly getting themselves involved in crazy and hilarious predicaments. The humor is as fine tuned as ever and the laughs just keep coming. I give this 3rd season a near-perfect score of 9.9/10. A must watch.
Not every one of the twenty-three episodes on offer in Bob’s Burgers third season completely works, but thus far this show has improved each season and it is becoming a reliable source of laughs.
This show is made for the large group of people that likes silly and stupid childish humor. It is made for the adult that never grown up, it has the same humor and style as most disney cartoons and their is no story or development in the show at all. Voices are just annoying, even worse then peter from family guy. If you have a brain you wont like this, if you just watch shows like a brain dead person, you will like it.
Even worse than the first two seasons. Terrible writing, bad voice work, poor animations. I honestly can't think of a single positive thing to say about this show. I'd give it a 0, but it deserves at least a point for effort.
