This is Cox's best gig since the end of "Friends" and she clearly knows it, attacking the material at full tooth-and-nail.
  2. The dialogue, timing and jokes have the madcap pace and anarchic spirit of "Scrubs," and it takes a while for Ms. Cox to recalibrate her Monica persona from "Friends."
  3. Jules will search for self-esteem in frequent sex and the proof that she is still "hot." Such a quest could be made funny, but here it mostly isn't. Ms. Cox is struggling with some ugly material and often seems desperate.

  1. This show is just fantastic. Get over the name people! It doesn't have anything to do with older women banging out young dudes. It is a show about friendship, family and booze. What else in life is important? Do yourself a favor and invest some time getting to know and appreciate this show. You'll thank me later. JPC Expand

This features two quite appealing comic veterans - Courtney Cox with some assistance from Christa Miller - but, if the scripts don't improve, it's likely it will just be a forgotten blotch on both their reusmes. It's the "New Adventures of Old Christine" with even less subtlety. The first half was almost all rapid fire dialogue, which doesn't work because the show lacks the edge to make rapid fire make sense. It's obviously just a phony script that says "line, line, line, bizarre situation, line, embarassing situation, line, line, sex scene, line, embarassing situation, lne, etc.... Just to make sure you understand that it's Contrived Scriptwriting 101, Cox even gets a shot speech. A speech! For Cox's sake, I hope it becomes funny. But it ain't, yet. Expand

Yes, because her behavior will go a long way towards teaching her teen aged son who to respectfully treat his future relationships. What a sorry excuse to pornography. Expand
