The seeds planted in the earliest episodes of the season promise a narrative as rich and complex as season one.
  3. The second season has style and suspense, but it's harder to keep viewers guessing when the characters are so familiar, and the time-scrambling format is no longer as novel.

Best Show On TV!!! The heart of this series is the script. The dialogue of this show is smart, suave, exciting, and of the quality of a Coen Brothers screenplay. The production is movie-like and provides twists and turns that leave you shocked, entertained, and fully engaged. The terrific acting (especially Close, Hurt, and Olyphant) is better than some of the best peformances in Oscar-Winning movies. Everyone down to guest stars turn in a career best performance. This is for people who respect the excellence of movies and television. Not To Miss (unless you are a total freak). Should be 11 out of 10. Expand

Ended up being extremely disappointing. The 80 here makes sense considering the critics only saw the first few episodes, which hinted at the brilliance of Season 1. Too bad the writers went nowhere with some intriguing storylines. What is most maddening is how the show was wrapped up in a sloppy manner. The last episode just had everyone arrested in the last few minutes. There was virtually no climax and the twist this season was not interesting at all. Hopefully season 3 gets back on track. Expand
