Oct 13, 20103Regarding the pilot: Skeet Ulrich is too lightweight for his role and had a hard time getting beyond that. Someone with the gravitas of a Russell Crowe would be a good choice. Shawnee Smith gave a weak performance as the twisted mother. The story was fairly predictable and conventional, which would have been okay with stronger performances.

Oct 24, 20104The main characters are not appealing. The cases are not interesting. The dialogue and drama are recycled and derivative. In short, if you are looking for something to take the place of Law & Order, keep looking.

Oct 5, 20106I really enjoy the Law & Orders shows but, the cast in the Los Angels one doesn't seem to mesh too well for me. Skeet Ulrich is good but he seems to be on auto-pilot for much of it with no real emotions. Hopefully as the series progresses it will get much better and will gain the staying power the other Law & Orders have gotten.

Nov 27, 201110Law & Order SVU is an amazing television show which contains a brilliant cast. The plot schemes always leaves viewers wondering what's going to happen next, and keeps you glued in at all times. Law & Order SVU will wholeheartedly go down in history as one of the best television shows to ever exist.

75LOLA for its part shows signs of getting that old Law & Order moxie back.

63Skeet Ulrich and Corey Stoll are well-paired as detectives, and Alfred Molina, looking like an irascible owl, adds some harrumping power as deputy DA. [18 Sep 2010, p.40]

50The prosecutors on this new show--led by actor Peter Coyote, who hauls loads of Adam Schiff gravel in his voice--are given to putting whole systems on trial, metaphorically and otherwise....Though [Detectives] Rex and T.J. do, in fact, dig for clues, it somehow feels that they're just watching them erupt.
