Usually LEVERAGE has great episodes which keep the viewer coming back for more. The series creates an "addiction" amongst the viewers, almost on par with the "LAW & ORDER" franchise. But sadly, the last known episode, "THE LAST DAM JOB" left me feeling discouraged regarding future prospects of the show. One of my many questions, is why did this particular episode have so many flashbacks to previous episodes. Alot of fans state that it's to catch new viewers up on what happens during the series. But my response is, "if someone is unfamiliar with the series, why would they begin with the last episode of the latest season"? That left A lot of time wasted for the newest episode. And now; on to add to this matter, LEVERAGE (as far as I know) has yet to post a Part 2 for this episode, to either end Season 4, or to start Season 5. The only responses I get, are from people who blindly follow the show, and believe that the series can do no wrong. I may be a fan of the series, (I own every episode up to date on AMAZON, and have the DVDs.), but I still hold any series accountable for their positives and their negatives. Personally, I am growing impatient, with waiting for updates on the LEVERAGE TV Series. Luckily "LAW & ORDER: SVU" updates their episodes on a regular basis. So far they know how to keep their fans satisfied with steady consumption. LEVERAGE might need to take notes on that. Until someone can prove me wrong.… Full Review »

The entertaining, light-hearted Robin Hood routine seems to have been taken over by mediocrity in this season. That's not to say it's bad, but it's certainly lost a lot of what made Leverage a good watch. To add to it, there seems to be a little too much effort put into the "character relationships" part that plague many other drama shows.
At its heart, though, it's still Leverage- a show that's more entertaining than it is deeply intriguing, which keeps it afloat. The question is, how long before the ship sinks into sub-par entertainment?… Full Review »
