Perhaps as the interplay between the World War II setting and other Marvelverses continues, we’ll see that the creative team learned from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D,’s early stumbles, so the new show is more mature, and ready to hit the ground with its Enfield No. 4s blazing.

Agents of SHIELD remains a flawed construct, but the less viewers thinks about that, the more they’re apt to enjoy it.

After the first season took a while to get off the ground, the second drops us straight into the action. If the show continues to ramp up like this it may yet prove a fan favourite. But still has quite a ways to go. There is no denying that this show has become very watchable and entertaining, but I think a lot of us Marvel fans want to see something on par with Walking Dead where the writing is so strong, the characters are well defined and the directors take big chances like dedicating and entire episode to just one set of characters. When SHIELD is able to move more confidently like we are beginning to see in season 2, it makes me optimistic for the future of the show as a solid piece of stand alone entertainment not just a vehicle for Marvel universe cameos for the fanboys. Your series have all the problem of this era : bad script, character are inconsistent (scientists are geeks with glasses... says it all), everything (or mostly) is shot at studios, all sounds fake and you have the feeling having seeing this millions times. Marvel think people watching series don't have any expectations... DC surpass easily marvel on television with more mature series (arrow suffers some of the same problems but still is more enjoyable to watch). So i wait for daredevil that looks not speak to a younger public Expand
