While the show never soft-pedals the havoc Escobar created, it makes him surprisingly sympathetic, thanks in part to Moura’s shrewd, affecting performance.
Moura’s performance anchors this show.

The most satisfying and finally great execution of the build-up and hype!This season is literally insane as hell.each episode was surprising and **** politics the drama and tactics it was a Masterpiece Ride!The music and sound-tracks were phenomenal the Harmonica sound was great at last **** acting is literally Iconic the Escobar at last episode was literally amazing the way he react and all it was great acting.love the new characters the search bloc general and his son with new vigilante group and Cali cartel members every character was **** story was packed with some amazing twists and great **** whole downfall and one-by-one hunted it was **** bombing and innocent murders were dark and **** exposing of reality of fake reporters like Valaria was good the way she died it was **** politics and drama with president was less compare to last season as this time it was mainly focused on hunting.every episode was amazing as hell it was like a level up and **** Pena transfer was little sad although at end it was **** scene of money burning was literally awesome before the Cali played the game real well the way they Destroy the back-bone of Escobar with Miami it was like half of Escobar is Dead the partner ship of Judy and twist was surprising and the way the airport thing and family thing was it was like full of packed amazing things,the Pablo's dad scene in farm was generous the way last 2 episodes were literally it was unusually amazing the whole downfall with nothing left and then the family matter,the looks of the situations and Pablo's it was perfect build-up to End although the dream president sequence was **** last shootout was intense and exciting and the speech of her mother with images of how he was great as she's telling and then the tease of next season it was literally a hell of a insane ride its like every card is played right the whole season is a Masterpiece!

SEASON 2
Wow. I was blown away by this show. I wasn't going to watch it because I figured "Escobar. drug dealer. he dies. spanish subtitles". Wrong! I was convinced to watch this by a friend and am so glad I did. Riveting from start to finish over 2 seasons so far. The truth about Escobar and his escapades is so fantastical that even Hollywood couldn't dream it up. You'd think his story was so unbelievable, his antics too outrageous to be believed. Just watch this and be prepared to be stunned. Wagner Moura, the actor who portrays Escobar, deserves an Emmy. Also, the spanish subtitles didn't detract at all.

SEASON 2
What works in the early going of season two is that the fall is almost always more thrilling, if not engaging, than the buildup. Escobar senses the loss of power and Moura does some of his best work as viewers read the worry and interior thinking on his face.
Mr. Moura is inscrutably brilliant at the center of it all.
Without [Escobar] there’s a gaping hole. So allow yourself to be mesmerized and appalled at one of the most outrageous true crime dramas ever filmed.
Your engagement with Narcos is going to depend on how much you can become concerned about Escobar and his fate, how much you can look past the series’ easy melodrama to savor its more subtle and moving moments of political intrigue, and the small, vivid subplots about the Escobar gang’s individual lives.
There are potent and provocative ideas that lie frustratingly dormant throughout this series, which seems to be just happy to play a competent but only occasionally compelling Michael Mann riff.
This is on a level with the first season of "House of Cards" or any other show you thought was groundbreaking. It gets better with season 2 unlike most shows which only plan to garner superior ratings in the first season. This guy playing Escobar should get some awards for best leading actor or supporting actor or something. This is a remake "show" about Escobar's life and his fight with the American and Colombian governments. It's really one of the best shows on TV right now, reminds me of the enthusiasm I had for Homeland in its first couple of seasons.

SEASON 2
Literally the best series Netflix could offer. Season 1 is when Pablo was living the life, and than Season 2 came out and the table turned. The more Pablo ran away, the more and more Los Pepes and DEA came closer. I was surprised on how this season turned out to be. Narcos proves that they keep the great story going and great action coming. It's an incredible show.

Narcos is vast, gorgeous, intelligent and rates to me 10 stars. Theres frequent gang violence and activity but its beautifully acted out and explained visiting the different worlds of Escobar, the DEA, the Army and his enemies. Some of the best television Ive ever seen.

This show is honestly just the best show in the world. I binged the first season countless times that I lost count. When season 2 came out I watched literally the second it came out and all I can say ****. This combines drama, sex, suspense, and action, a great combination for a great show. I'd rate this show 100 out of 100!

SEASON 2
This season should have been 7-8 episodes instead of the full 10. There was a lot of filler this season and very little of it was actually interesting. The DEA characters took a huge step back and the Narcos characters take a step up and it just isn't the same. The first season was so good but you cared about all the characters. There was a good mix of both and both sides of the story were interesting.
Having such a heavy focus on just one side made the other very boring and it just wasn't the same show imo. They definitely suffered with the weak and uninteresting sub plots as well, Especially with Search Bloc.
