The floor was then open for those who impressed the judges, those with raw talent and star quality, to shake their stuff on screen in a brand new dance series, Strictly Dance Fever. From tap to tango, street dance to body popping and salsa to lindy hop, the nation's most talented non-professional dancers strutted their stuff on the dance floor hoping to win public support, and your vote! The irrepressible Graham Norton hosted this dance extravaganza which saw ten couples taught a new dance routine each week from a variety of different dance styles in the hope of dancing away with the coveted prize of £50,000. It is now back for a second series, although it is still not as popular as the original Strictly Come Dancing. Anne Robison has even described the show as "Come Dancing for chavs!"
