The Tudors Image
  • Summary: Heads will roll in the second season of The Tudors. Henry and Anne are king and queen, but this stops neither Henry's roving eye nor his suspicion of those closest to him.
  • Genre(s): Action/Adventure, Drama, Movie/Mini-Series
Score distribution:

  1. Hirst, Rhys Meyers and the rest of the cast (and Bergin's costumes) make it all somehow meatier but no less entertaining in Season 2.

Mixing equal parts court intrigue with Calvin Klein ad, the series falls short of greatness.

Fantastic series, original ideas on how to tell the life of Henry, great performances from all leading cast and really addictive. I will be looking forward to the next series for sure. Expand

Really guys? Whats with the 10s? Henry the 8th wasn't some whiny twerp. He was a big powerful dude. The acting in this is sub par at best. The show goes nowhere fast, and focuses on the most boring crowd pleasing aspect of the story. Don't believe the myriad high scores. I watched a whole season and I don't know why. There is zero payoff. Expand
