TripTank shares one characteristic with its spiritual predecessors: Like Spike And Mike’s and Liquid Television, most of the segments will eventually fade into hazy memory.
Every episode is a collection of some wildly funny and often inappropriate sketches. The focus here is often on providing humor that is either shocking or disgusting. That being said I find the show to be incredibly hilarious regardless, and it can surprise you with how intelligent it's humor can be. It's clear that you are going to have have a certain type of sense of humor to enjoy it, and not all of the skits are winners, but so far I have I found plenty of reasons to laugh. As of right now I give the show an 8.9/10-Great.
Like any sketch show: some sketches are absolutely hilarious, some are ok, some are bad, and some are terrible. This show has a mix of each, but is generally "ok".
Painfully moderate TV show. There are some very funny moments, but then there are 2 or 3 boring skits. It tries to piss off people like South Park has so gracefully mastered, but it fails miserably.
this show made me want to kill myself, it is the first cartoon that has ever made me so rapidly consider suicide. i mean, i wasn't even thirty seconds into the thing when the voices started telling me that it was all over and i should just off myself, sure i would try to reason with them and say, no its not too late, but what i saw on the screen was just so terrible and horrid that i knew the voices had a point, and that it was all over.
There is no clear structure to anything in this show its all just random **** thrown together with the hopes that it may somehow become trippy where in fact the only trippy thing about the stinking pile of fesses that is this show is the fact that it is on television in the first place. just look at the drawings, i am sorry but a clear lack of effort doesn't make something edgy or cool or trippy it just makes it look like the tormented scribbles of some abused autistic child with PTSD. The jokes and skits in this show just seem like the delusional self gratifications of a 12 year old child with severe mental issues, i mean really **** bad, like full on **** non functioning cant even speak just sits in his and draws pictures of what he thinks the world is like while he ****s himself and yells inaudibly at the toilet trying to talk to his own **** for ideas cus he think his **** is **** child who is also a goddamned genius!
but maybe i am being to hard on this show, maybe i should go and take a copious amount of LSD before watching it maybe then it would be funny. or maybe the only funny thing would be the inevitable out of body experience that my mind would improvise to temporarily remove my conscious self from the overwhelming amount of drugs that i had to ingest to enjoy this show. so yes i suppose as i float softly and freely up above the flickering lights and my still twitching shell of what once was my body i may find some humor is the sad irony of the necessary overdose needed to enjoy this travesty of a show
in short, don't do drugs.
