The potential definitely is there for a bloody good finale. The setup is intriguing enough.

There are still too many characters to keep track of, and their numbers are only growing.... [But] There's a clever twist involving Eric that could set up an exciting arc for Sookie.

Headaches will be induced just in trying to unravel the plot mess Bon Temps finds itself in. At least this will be the last headache.

For the most part, cable series haven’t been as guilty as their network brethren of overstaying an invitation, but this is one hit show that probably should have breathed its last a couple of years ago.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I felt that true blood really lost it's edge in season 5 with all of the side stories and I felt that it got a lot better in season 6 as far as side stories, writing, and characters go but I was still not sure if I would like this season but I'm here to tell you that I loved it. Everything in this episode was perfect. From Tara finally biting the dust after she should have died years ago to Lafayette, James talk about death, and pain to Bill and Andy walking through the creepy deserted slaughterhouse. Kept me on the edge of my seat. My only complaint is the lack of Eric. Fingers crossed that he'll be back soon. Expand

Strong season premiere. Didn't disappoint me like I thought it would. Best season premiere since season 3. I hope the rest of the season is this good.

This feels exactly like season 1 and 2. There are some things that they can't go back to but for the most part it's almost exactly like the earlier seasons. I'm so excited to see how the rest of this season plays out. Expand

The show was doing awsome till this season; I personally enjoyed all 6 seasons. Season 7 is all about drama and romance. Too much nonsense talk, expressing fillings, arguments about making babies and even Bill Compton went soft and cuddly again. I had skipped so many scenes in last 3 episodes... That said, they are really making sure this season will be the last... Expand

I don't think I can finish this crap (currently on episode 5). Many times in this season I've had to skip parts of an episode because it has turned in to absolute drivel, boring inane drivel. The only thing that can save this show now is if it ends in the next episode, with the story consisting of 50+ minutes of a blank screen with the words "Sorry but True Blood has come to an abrupt end. Thank you for your time." I feel so bad for having recommended this utter POS show to friends back in the first few seasons. I'm going to do the opposite now.. Good riddance, True Blood. Expand
