    "Weeds" is colossally great... a series far better than its premise and utterly essential for devotees of smart, entertaining television.

    This is damn fertile soil for a comedy, and creator Jenji Kohan and the writers of "Weeds" farm it for all it's worth in the show's second season, cultivating vivid, surprising stories that naturally transcend the typical limitations of the half-hour format.

    One of the best seasons of television I have ever seen. Great cast, well-written characters, lots of laugh out loud moments and genuinely engaging storylines all the way through.… Expand

    No, a show about smoking weed, telling random stories and about masturbation is interesting. It breaks up and relieves tension, telling a comical, spontaneous, and humorous aspect from a human being's point of view, yet it can also show subtly the problems of humans in society and human nature. However, this show has gotten really OC-like, with all of their unnecessary melodrama and whining. That's why this show's fallen off.… Expand

    The bad points outweigh the good. I started out liking the show and then the stupidity began. Kevin Nealon is a funny guy but I just think he is a little too much of a "Whoa, parrty" thing happening. It gets old. I am about to lose my mind at how laid back of a mother she is. Who wants to hear about a 12 year old getting "favors"? That is just sad! It has it's moments but seriously! How dumb! Nancy will screw anyone that is in her way, the kids are just as freaking loose. Nancy is also really bad at being bad-ass. It's stupid. Makes my brain hurt.… Expand
