1. Felicity

This coming-of-age drama tracked the experiences of the naive Felicity Porter (Keri Russell), who moves across the country to New York to attend college and pursue her high school crush, Ben Covington (Scott Speedman). The show followed Felicity and her new friends as they made the transition to adulthood and dealt with an endless slew of crises. The show aired 4 seasons and showed the main characters' four years attending college. Although now off the air, it remains one of the WB's best shows, giving the audience a realistic portrayal of the world of young adults.

2. Sports Night

Sports Night ran nearly two full seasons on the ABC network in the US during the '98-99 and '99-00 seasons. Created by Emmy Award winning writer/director, Aaron Sorkin. Sorkin created such movies as, A Few Good Men & The American President before his first venture into television (Sorkin would later create the massively respected & popular The West Wing). Smart, fast-paced, witty and featuring a fine ensemble cast, Sports Night struggled in the ratings from the start, particularly during its second season, when it was routinely pre-empted and moved from night to night. Art imitated life imitating art, as the show took on a consultant (William H. Macy in his first TV role since his stint on ER), was hired to "tweak" the ratings. The show within a show continued to falter, amidst rumors of the imminent sale of its network and the subsequent gutting of its staff, until it, like its parent Sports Night, simply disappeared from the schedule. Upon its cancellation, several networks, most notably HBO came to Sorkin for a possible move to the respected network, but nothing was ever solidified. Sports Night gained additional exposure through a subsequent syndication on Comedy Central.

4. Will & Grace

Will & Grace is a hilarious series about two best friends. The twist is that Will is gay Grace is a straight interior designer. More than friends, but less than lovers, the two share a special bond and their personalities easily balance one another's. In addition to the stable Will and Grace, the show features Will's flamboyantly gay friend, Jack and Grace's sarcastic, spoiled, and boozy assistant, Karen. Will & Grace is the only series of such length (8 years) to have all of its episodes directed by the same director, in this case the talented James Burrows. Will & Grace is also one of the three series in which all of the main cast memebers won Emmy awards, with the other two shows being The Golden Girls, and All in the Family. Throughout its 8-year run, Will & Grace has been nominated for 83 Emmys, 24 Golden Globes, 14 SAG Awards and six People's Choice Awards. Among its 12 Emmy wins, the show won as Outstanding Comedy Series in 2000. In 2002, 2003, 2005, and 2006, it had more Emmy nominations than any other comedy series. Additionally, it's been nominated for an American Comedy Award, three GLAAD Media Awards and a Founders Award from the Viewers for Quality Television. 5. Maximum Bob

Maximum Bob is based on Elmore Leonard's novel of the same name. The main character is Judge Bob Gibbs, the eccentric judge of Deepwater, Florida. The television program aired for seven weeks in NYPD Blue's time slot. After its run ended and ABC declined to renew the program, producers shopped it to other networks to no avail. Maximum Bob actors Liz Vassey and Kiersten Warren made guest appearances on Fantasy Island, produced by the same people responsible for Bob in Fall 1998.

7. That '70s Show

Set in the era of Led Zeppelin 8-tracks, Tab cola and Farrah Fawcett posters, THAT '70s SHOW returns for an eighth season as it continues to flash back to the "Me Decade." With changes in their lives and adjustments being made, the gang from Point Place is moving onward and upward in season eight of THAT '70s SHOW. While the kids continue to make the sometimes bumpy and often hilarious transition into adulthood, the parents are forced to deal with an empty nest. DONNA (Laura Prepon) grows more popular at the radio station and realizes that a long-distance relationship with Eric isn't going to work, so she starts dating again, eventually meeting the person who may actually be "the one." HYDE (Danny Masterson) runs a successful record store – with Leo (Tommy Chong) as his slacker employee – and makes a final decision about his complicated relationship with JACKIE (Mila Kunis). Meanwhile, FEZ (Wilmer Valderrama) reveals more about his family and home country as he grows into quite the local Lothario. And at the Formans', KITTY (Debra Jo Rupp) has problems with no kids in the house, while RED (Kurtwood Smith) has problems because it still seems like there are always kids in the house. The eighth season of THAT '70s SHOW will continue the signature elements that have made the series a hit, including the surreal dream sequences, the 360-degree basement scenes and the classic '70s score. The retro series has featured numerous '70s icons since its premiere, including Gloria Gaynor, Shirley Jones, Danny Bonaduce, Charo, Alice Cooper, Marion Ross, Eve Plumb, Ted Nugent, Howard Hesseman, Valerie Harper and Roger Daltrey. 8. Charmed

Three sisters - Prue, Piper and Phoebe Halliwell - reunite in their ancestral home, Halliwell Manor. When the youngest sister, Phoebe, ventures into the previously-locked attic, she recites a passage from an ancient book which unlocks their dormant powers to transform them into The Charmed Ones - the most powerful witches ever to exist. Now they must vanquish evil and save innocent lives while living their own lives as normal women in the real world. Life isn't so easy when you're Charmed. In Season 4, half-sister (and half-Whitelighter) Paige replaces the dearly departed Prue in The Power of Three. In season 8, a life-or-death decision forces the sisters to fake their deaths and take a young witch named Billie into their care to help them fight the evil forces that once threatened their existence so that they could maintain the 'normal' lives for which they had spent the last 7 years fighting to regain.

9. Dawson's Creek

It's the end of something simple. And the beginning of everything else. Set in the fictional town of Capeside, MA, Dawson's Creek is the coming of age story of four friends on the verge of adulthood. Dawson, Joey, and Pacey are life long friends, whose lives start to rapidly change when a new girl, Jen, moves in next door to Dawson Leery and the foursome start high school. Along the way they are joined by two other newcomers to Capeside, Jack and Andie and, when they go to college, by Audrey. Often characterized by it's intelligence, sharp wit, and SAT vocabulary, Dawson's Creek was created by Kevin Williamson. It was loosely based on his life, with each character incorporating a different aspect of himself. The show quickly launched the careers of it's stars, turning them into world known celebrities, and, in the words of The WB, defined a network. Dawson's Creek was filmed primarily on location in Wilmington, NC. This show is based on the box office film in 1998 'The Net'. After Angela Bennett a computer expert opens an unexpected email she is then thrown in to a world of terrorism, drugs, and money. The terrorists are called the praetorians, everything they do is build around the computer age. So the only way that Angela Bennett can fight back is through her computer but with her identity stolen and a new one created, she is wanted by the government and as one of the top 10 wanted by the FBI, she is also on the run. If the praetorians catch her they will kill her. So with the help of an unknown person called the sorcerer, the only way she can win is to stop what the praetorians are doing and get her identity back.

However, now that Carrie's widowed father, Arthur (Jerry Stiller, Seinfeld), lives with them, Doug's television room has become Arthur's bedroom. 12. The Magnificent Seven

This is the story of seven men, each with his own dark secret, who band together to become known as the Magnificent Seven. They learn from each other as they protect those who can not protect themselves. These men include their leader, Chris Larabee: a man running from the pain of his past, Vin Tanner: a sharpshooter, bounty hunter and fugitive, Nathan Jackson: a former slave turned healer, JD Dunne: the kid of the gang, good with a gun but has little experience with real life, Erza Standish: a gambler and con artist, Josiah Sanchez: a former priest fighting off his personal demons and Buck Willington: a ladies man with a heart of gold. This show is based on the movie series from the 60s and 70s, which was in turn based on the 1954 Japanese film "Seven Samurai" by Akira Kurosawa. This show was cancelled by CBS after the first season and was later renewed thanks to a large internet campaign to save the show. The show was again cancelled halfway through its second season run. CBS agreed to air the remaining six episodes, but due to low ratings CBS only aired two of the reaming six episodes. About a year later, TNN aired the entire series.
