Best sports game on Nintendo Switch. There is actually depth to the gameplay. I love that the game is easy to learn but hard to master.
Personally, it does not bother me that there is no season or story mode. Online play is what matters to me. The "cups" (double eliminations tournaments) serve as a great opportunity to practice for online play and earn coins to buy gear for your players. Great game!

Nostalgia hit hard with this one. Still, I think is not really an improvement of the wii game(2007). It could have had better graphics, better gameplay, and a better single player system. Sadly its not more than a 7 for me. Recommended only for huge Mario fans.

Very glad I grabbed this game on sale. Even then, I am looking to return it because of the limited gameplay content. Controls and graphics are solid, but not enough to keep me playing in the future. Single player is very boring. Everything that made the wii version great is missing from this. I should have listened to the reviews that said this game was "rushed". I would have been a lot more satisfied if they remade the wii version and instilled it with the controls from this game.
