    The gameplay that is hidden under the unwelcoming surface is not bad at all. American Theft 80s finally stands up as a thief simulation focused specifically on burglary practices. It doesn't excel, but it definitely offers more than it seems at first and maybe second glance.

    The vibe of a decade long gone was not enough to make me happy. There were moments when I had genuine fun, but almost every one of them was quickly spoiled by dubious design choices, terrible AI or one of many other flaws.
