Mar 27, 2022This game is fun and fresh, and at the same time kind of one note and repetitive. Graphics and character animations are below the standard I would expect from a game in 2022, but still highly enjoyable. Combat is fun, and challenging at times. Music and atmosphere is great, and all the Japanese cultural content is always a bonus.

May 21, 2022Nothing special, boring story, boring gameplay. Visual design and the atmosphere of the world are good and interesting.

Dec 14, 2022This is a game mostly about exploring, jumping and gliding, a japanese city on a rainy night while searching for souls and interacting with cats, dogs and yokai that act as vendors or grappling hook points. The combat is so simple you dont even look forward to it, could have been a great game if the combat was good and the city more fleshed out.

Mar 28, 2022Nice graphic, looks very cool and mystic, but game is SOOO booring, gameplay tastes like s**t.

Jun 27, 2022Play this on hard. The boss battles were too easy and not frequent enough until the end. Then it turned into a walking simulator. The ending really let down what was otherwise a good game

May 11, 2022The localization ="Ownership is a crime.", yep you are right, that is why i pirated it

Apr 10, 2022Ghostwire: Tokyo possesses beautiful graphics, visual effects and map design that is sadly experienced in a horrible story, eye-rollingly cringe acting, repetitive gameplay, tedious open world activities and uneventful questlines.

Feb 28, 2023Very repetitive gameplay. The plot and characters are completely uninteresting. It's not the worst game I've played, but nothing more. Graphics are normal. The optimization is not very good.

Apr 3, 2022I expected much more from this game, it had soo much potential but it got ruined by repetitive combat and gameplay. Side missions have no soul in them but graphics are cool with an average story.

Mar 18, 2023Liked this game for about 80% of my playthrough and then it just got so boring and repetitive that i didn't even finish it

Apr 20, 2023Just about my only complaint about going back to Ghostwire: Tokyo was that the game doesn’t look quite as nice on the Steam Deck as it did when I played it on PS5 last year. When it rained, it made everything look a little more washed out, and it made it tougher to tell when you were entering a foggy area that was off-limits. You realize quickly enough when you’re somewhere you’re not supposed to be, but it was still a little disappointing. Overall, though, I’ll reiterate what I wrote up top: Spider’s Thread makes a great game even better. Ghostwire: Tokyo didn’t get nearly the level of attention it deserved on its initial release last year, and now that the game is free for Game Pass and PS+ subscribers (and generally inexpensive enough to buy on PC), there’s even less reason why it should be slept on. Do yourself a favour and get it now.

Apr 12, 2022This isn’t the first game to offer a dense, incredibly detailed rendering of Tokyo, but maybe it’s the first to make you feel like all of that work isn’t window dressing.

Apr 8, 2022The unique setting really helps to lift Ghostwire: Tokyo from myriad of problems such as a plain open-world design and lackluster combat. If you love Japan and mystical powers, then Ghostwire can be just the game you're looking for.
