    Honeslty, 2K is lame for releasing THE SAME version as last year. PC version needs a refresh too. Unplayable and pay to win.

    so 2k basically make some new UI, some new budget, a new roaster, and call it a day since like 2k14. same sh*tty AI, same sh*tty bug.

    They literally re-released the same game for the second year in a row. I put up with it last year, but not again. 2k treats PC players as second-class citizens which I know based on console getting massive updates to the entire game while the only difference between this game and 2k21 is that they butchered the shot meter to make the game unplayable and they renamed a dozen badges. Last year playing the game was painful and the most frustrating thing I have ever done, and since 2k couldn't be bothered to change the gameplay in the slightest I am not going to reward them for their terrible practices as I have refunded the game. I bought 2k21 and last year and there is no sense in buying a terrible game twice. I cannot stress enough how good of a decision it is to not touch this game or this franchise with a 10-foot pole in its current state until full next gen is available, which I seriously doubt will ever happen.… Expand

    That's the bar for all sports games. This game is just beautiful. It's basically impossible to try everything that it offers, I think this is the most replayble sports game of all time.

    The gameplay is often great, the content is often amazing, and it's just about the only game in town. But once the next edition comes out, they start to bleed this one to death. After 1 year, they coerce you to stop playing this one, while still selling it and not fixing bugs. After 2 years, they turn off the servers, RIP.

I still can't make defensive adjustments before the game, between quarters, at half time. 7 foot plus centers get blocked by 6 footers in the post. My teammates are too stupid to get back on defense and put themselves between the opposing players and the hoop. I used to play myplayer until they brought in Spike Lee andEhhhhhhhhh. *vomit noises* I only play online head to head. PIck a shot meter that works and stick with it instead of changing it every year. Graphics are good. Nice to have different announcers. I just can't get over 2k not putting simple straight forwards stuff into the game we've been asking for, for YEARS.

I JUST WANT TO PLAY BASKETBALL WITH MY TEAM, I don't want to answer questions after the game, I don't want to scheme with my agent or whoever that woman was, I JUST WANT TO PLAY BASKETBALL. Do the creators of this game even consider asking NBA 2k players what they want in a basketball game? Cause it sure wasn't this.    … Expand

    Do not release the games on PC anymore if it is for those screwing PC gamers, you should be ashamed, not able to add a city and with the scenario which are available on next GEN while we have a big very big party of PCs that are much better than the new consoles

    NBA 2K22 has developed in graphics, and the setting options are numerous.
    Only missing Charles Barkley. :-)

    Decades from now there will be a major documentary about how bad EA and 2k were. I will pay more to see that documentary than I will spend on another 2k production. 2k singlehandedly ruined to video game counterparts for two sports that we all grew up watching, NBA and WWE. I quit supporting the game around the mid 2010s because 2k just stopped caring or even trying to make a reasonableDecades from now there will be a major documentary about how bad EA and 2k were. EA was 2K's only competition but EA sucked at making basketball games too so now we are left with the company that USED to make decent basketball games but now they just sit back and gameplan about how they can make the most money with the least investment put into a product. This game is just toxic but people will STILL buy it because they are a glutton for punishment. Everything about this game is toxic and pure evil. People will continue to buy this garbage sim year after year even after seeing how bad it is. It's easier to PLAY basketball in real life than play this prime example of human excrement from a fat trucker's rectum. This is simply THE WORST BASKETBALL GAME EVER MADE.… Expand

    2k just gave up on pc. They just release it for the extra cash. They have zero support, the online park, rec center, pro am, my teams vs, and all online events are run by cheaters and mods. It’s disgusting how bad it is and they just allow it. No anti cheat for another year in a row. No support. No good experience. If anyone is rating the pc version above 0 they are cheating or only2k just gave up on pc. They just release it for the extra cash. They have zero support, the online park, rec center, pro am, my teams vs, and all online events are run by cheaters and mods. It’s disgusting how bad it is and they just allow it.     Easily one of the worst 2k games of all time. Chunky. Ai is dumb as hell. The controls are dumb. I feel like I’m not even in control of the player sometimes. Just not good overall. I know 2k will bounce back if they care enough but who knows. Smh

    2k is terrible. It's an all around bad game. The developers are truly not good at what they do. Every year they inch farther from incompetence and closer to actual fraud. Most releases are visibly unfinished and missing content/ voice overs etc. Just awful, not fun, terrible gameplay- do NOT buy.

    NBA 2K22 definitely hasn't earned a foul of any type, but may not quite win a championship either. Let's say that NBA 2K22 won its conference title and might have made it to the finals, but not an NBA Championship this year. There's always something else to improve before championship status can be awarded. NBA 2K22 is much improved over the NBA 2K21 edition. As with most all yearly serial sports franchise computer games developing a completely new game engine takes a lot of work and time, work that probably couldn't be completed with the years. When taking into consideration the disappointments involving the 2021 edition, Vision Concepts and 2K Sports really did a good job with the 2022 game. It rolled around the rim and dropped in for two. Here's hoping that future editions can sink the three-pointer.
