    Without a doubt, the closest thing I've ever seen to a game that approximates a real honest-to-goodness game of pool...There is honestly nothing that you could want in a pool game that you won't find here -- well, with the exception of stale cigarette smoke and a fistfight or two.

The statistics and player ranking system appear to be slightly flawed, and the sound department lacks consistency, but the accurate physics model, along with a wide variety of game modes, game types, and other various options, make Virtual Pool 3 a clear-cut winner.

    Agreed, the best pool sim I've ever played...some glitches but with patches runs beautifully

    I discovered VP3 in 2002... It's now 2005 and I still haven't found a pool game that comes close. Online play is great fun and it I discovered VP3 in 2002...     I started playing vp1 in 1996 aproximately... Graphics were bad ut still the best back then. when vp2 came out... Well... nothing could come I started playing vp1 in 1996 aproximately... Since then and playing vsnooker and vphall too, I finally fell into vp3's nest, never to leave again. Definetely not much room for improvement, amazing game.… Expand
