    EA knows not to mess with the classic formula, so the largely visual upgrades work, creating a satisfying game. Truth is, racing games haven’t changed that much in the last decade; it’s about speed, and letting you feel that speed. Sure, you’re missing the “rewind” feature of current racing games, and it might have been nice to get that added in here.

    Ten years after its original release, Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit remains one of the best games of the IP, but the remaster is quite light, with no new content and only lightly improved visuals.

    As a re-release of one of the finest arcade racers of the modern era, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered is a tasty treat in 2020 too. We do miss a bit more value for the money than just the improved graphics and crossplay.

    Need for Speed Hot Pursuit is a gem from 2010 that we didn’t really need again. It definitely wasn’t in my top 5 NFS games to come back as a remaster, but still one to welcome with its new additions. This is a game for those who never experienced it in its initial state in 2010 or for those who want some variation in the arcade racing genre in the meantime until the 2021 iteration is released.

    The technical improvements are so minor, especially on the base PS4, you honestly might as well just play the PS3 version from ten years ago. Both are lots of fun. [Issue#182, p.138]

    Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit may have had its heyday, but this particular entry feels well past its prime with bland visuals, uninteresting courses, and terrible controls.

Обычно когда выбиваешь платину у игры, то возвращаться в неё уже не хочется. В случае же с NFS: Hot Pursuit Remastered сперва погонял в неё по подписке ЕА Play и позже купил в американском PSN чтобы получить ещё одну платину (у игры два списка трофеев у Европы и США)
    Расстраивает долгий поиск онлайн гонок, но оно и понятно почему - игра для олдфагов, пофаниться в добротную аркадную гонку десятилетней давности.    … Expand

    Car handling is very poor and unresponsive, every input has 0.5-1 second delay and it rely on luck rather that skill. The game appears to have been created by someone who knows nothing about cars and has never driven one. Rubber band A.I. is probably the most ridiculous I've ever seen in any racing game. Some glitches and bugs from original are still present in the remaster version.    … Expand
