That's You is what it takes: a very quick and fun way to spend 15 minutes of fun with friends or family. The PlayLink concept, which allows you to play each with a smartphone or a tablet, is really cool and well designed : you all go very quickly and easily into the game... even if the final drawing test (co-operative drawings) slows down things a little. The pace of each game is also a bit repetitive if you chain too much, a little more variety in the types of events would have been welcome... but it remains that the experience is still very fun, if your friend are, obviously, if you all know each other very well, and if you are at least 3 or 4 players around the PS4.
That's You! is a wonderful party game, for literally everyone is able at least to take a selfie. Smart, funny, and witty, That's You! is the kind of couch multiplayer experience that PlayStation 4 needed.
Esli vi hotite razoblachit i proverit na izmenu svoego/svoyu devushku ili parnya, eta igra dlya vas. Uznaete, est li u nego lubovnitsa ili zhena (tak zhe ispolzuetsa i v storonu devushki)
PlayLink, the new multi-screen system, launches on PS4 with this 'That's You!' that fuses the best elements of board games and makes it customizable, natural and dynamic by giving each player a buzzer, a camera, a slate and a screen in the palm of your hand. However, it needs more situations and questions.
PlayStation’s new PlayLink format is off to a good start and That’s You really showcases their new software well, including the ease of connecting smart devices to their console. All in all, That’s You is an entertaining game and if you’re looking for a party game, it definitely meets the mark and more importantly, everyone has a smartphone these days so getting your friends and family around to play a game on your PlayStation 4 has never been easier.
All the parts are there for a great party game, but they don't quite fit together thanks to oddly long rounds and an unfortunate amount of scenario repetition. [Sept 2017, p.93]
That's You! is the first PlayLink game on PlayStation 4. In this party series you can use your smartphone as controller, to play with your friends. The graphic design is cute and looks like a Wes Anderson movie, however the gameplay is not very interesting.
Such a fantastic game to play with friends, I've played dozens of games and it's not got too repetitive as of yet. Hoping for some possible DLC in the future
All right party game, but gets boring quickly after some sessions.
I like playing silly games with friends and family, especially party games with your phone on the big screen. After Knowledge is Power and a couple of The Jackbox Party Packs, I decided to give That’s You! a try. It was all right, but falls short in comparison to the other party games out there, in my opinion. Not because the games are bad or something, but mainly because it gets boring, really quick.
In That’s You!, you play a variety of different mini games and an algorithm decides which game is played next, depending on the answers and votes of the players. You start with a hypothetical situation, on which you respond by answering questions or draw your response.
You can answer questions like “Who is most likely to….” or “Which player would..”. After that you can play various drawing games, in which you need to draw someone from a selfie as accurately as possible. Or the other way around, taking a selfie that resembles a certain picture. There is also a word game in which players must finish a sentence.
After ten rounds, the final game is played, in which a player has been assigned a certain trait, that other players must draw on his selfie. The player with the most points throughout the rounds, wins the game.
The graphics, animations and art style, are all a little blend. It is the same colours and animations throughout, and most of the graphics come from the ugly faces of the selfies of all your friends and the hideous drawings and **** on top of that drawing. Sound wise, That’s You! is not that special.
Just like Knowledge is Power, the animations that play before progressing to the next game or stage, are very slow. When a joker is dropped on an answer for example, the animations of two jokers falling down, rolling around and eventually lay still, takes too long in my opinion. Again, compare this to the Jackbox series, and the difference is night and day.
Although fun for a few sessions, That’s You! gets boring eventually. This is mainly because most of the games are the same idea. Take a selfie and make a drawing in some kind of theme. In my opinion, it lacks the variety that The Jackbox games have for example. Combine this with the blend art style and the slow progression and animations, and I would prefer The Jackbox series over this game any time.
So in the end, That’s You! is certainly not a bad game, and if you bought this one instead of any other party game, I would surely recommend it. For me however, I would prefer the other games I mentioned.

Very repetitive, and feels like you are doing the same things over and over again. You are also required to download an app to play it, which would be a fun idea if it was executed nicely. Instead you have to deal with dropped players, and just a glitchy experience.
