    Incredibly fun combat, amazing visuals, compelling story.
    Be in Hogwarts.
    Has some technical issues with sound and perfomance.

    I'm not a big Harry Potter fan. The films are ok, albeit skewed towards children and full of plot holes, but mindless fluff none the less, and I've never played a HP game before.
    Meanwhile, my wife is a huge fan and so I have bouflght her a copy to play on her PS4. Now she's not a big a tiin gamer, and so I got the Deluxe version so I could play on my PS5 and learn the combat and system to    I'm not a big Harry Potter fan.     This game is a masterpiece. I've played other Harry Potter games and none of them come close to as good as this one is. It looks especially good on the PS5. If you're on the fence between getting a series X or PS5, I would highly recommend going with the PS5 especially for this game. Not to mention PS made next gen controller while Microsofts lazy selves kept the same controller thatThis game is a masterpiece.     Lovely game, It truly gives you the feeling you're a student in Hogwarts. They nailed the class feelings and combat is really good.

    As many have sed, this is the HP game we all have been waiting for.

    Pretty much got everything I wanted out of a good Harry Potter game. Overall, the game as a whole is great; the graphics are amazing, the combat, the story, the side quests, the world itself was big and exciting, lots of customizations with your outfits and the room of requirement, etc. I could wander the halls of Hogwarts for hours and find new stuff every time. Some elements of the gamePretty much got everything I wanted out of a good Harry Potter game. Overall, the game as a whole is great; the graphics are amazing, the combat, the story, the side quests, the world itself was big and exciting, lots of customizations with your outfits and the room of requirement, etc. I could wander the halls of Hogwarts for hours and find new stuff every time. Some elements of the game came just short of being perfect. The story was good but could have been great in my opinion if more students were involved in the main story and had more mystery behind it like Harry Potter is mainly known for. Also, I wish there were more choices and options with multiple endings like the Witcher whether you choose to go dark or not. Perhaps even a dating mechanic. More unique boss fights would be nice. No quidditch for whatever reason is a big downer. So, to sum it all up, the game is great, but is just shy of being perfect.… Expand

    Excellent game! The exploration is super fun, the environments are really pretty, and the combat works well. You really feel like a student running through the Hogwarts countryside. The small negatives would be the camera is too close, and the combat targeting can be off at times

    This is an amazing game for all HP fans! Hogwarts has been recreated with love, overall the open world feels very detailed and magical. Different game mechanics and activities are just what you always wanted to do reading books/watching films. Music is amazing and helps immerse in Hogwarts, voice acting is very good, too. PS5 graphics (fidelity + ray tracing) are really nice, especiallyThis is an amazing game for all HP fans!     Work with DualSense is really impressive (immersive), casting spells and riding a broom are my favourites, but I have been only 25 hours of pure fun and slow exploring.
    I rated this 9, because obviously there are some problems in release version, but which can be easily fixed by developers: -impossibility to sleep and very weird skip time mechanics (not immersive because of many reasons)
    - the biggest issue for me which does not allow to completely immersive in this Wizarding World - empty dormitories during nighttime, like all the students are suddenly gone (this is really cringe). All rooms which should be habitant are empty including professors. I understand this is pure technical complexity to add this sleep course, but that is a downside for me to fully immerse into this story and gameplay - Outdated dialogue mechanics, lack of dialogue choices. It’s really strange to see characters entering dialogues in same way as in Mass Effect or Skyrim (this can’t be fixed I’m afraid and we’ll have to live with this). Let's be fair - many dialogues are super-simple, side quests are quite boring, BUT it doesn't really matter in this particular game.
    - different glitches with animals / npc, but that’s ok with me really, it happens everywhere, fixable with patches
    - most of the side quests are really weak, it’s a shame :( BUT, it’s fixable with additional content at some point and of course in amazing sequel we await. Lore is amazing itself and I really believe you will come up with brilliant new content, whether it be DLC or sequel.
    - another thing - why can’t you sit on a chair/bench in Hogwarts, just listen to music for example and look around, just watching students and professors do their stuff. You can even create chairs and benches, but you can’t sit on these. - different items you can interact with are cool - but globes are way too many. It's like they are obsessed with geography there. All these things I've mentioned are just purely minor issues which won't allow me to put a 10, which is amazing by itself!
    UPD after 50 hours. I’m giving it a 10 instead of 9 as the emotions I got after randomly revealing some secrets and trying some new mechanics made me absolutely happy like a Hogwarts fifth-grader. It’s unique    … Expand

    Absolutely incredible the combat feels amazing and you really get to live in the world jk Rowling wrote to the fullest extent. I've been waiting for a game like this ever since I read the books and so far it has delivered all I want.

    Additionally, the character customization is fantastic but the voice options really only consist of male/female and the pitch shifting is not necessary because then you sound    Perfection and incredible care taken to realize J.K. Rowling's vision.

    This game has almost everything I have ever wanted from a. Modern “Harry Potter” game. Great RPG, great sense of discovery and the world feels alive like they do in the books and movies. Wish there was quidditch and other wizard/mini games to play.

Le titre ne résume pas simplement qu'à l'école de Poudlar. La Map reprend le rythme de l'ensemble de la Saga Harry Potter pour offrir une immersion la plus possible. Les graphiques sont appliquées, réussis et les personnages sont incroyablement bien réaliste. L'interface demande une certaine étude en elle-même. Propre à elle, les possibilités de personnalisé les sorts, potions et équipement sont équilibré mais nécessite une certaine adaptation.

    Beaucoup de facultés propre à la sorcellerie se découvre au file de l'expérience.

    Le travail en générale est d'une réussite légendaire. Les symboles, les décors vous propose introspection et un travail en soi en quête du language perdu.

    L'ambiance au cours de l'expérience est saisissante et sera rendre le titre à la hauteur des attentes.

    Ce titre ne vous laissera pas indifférent, que ce soit néophyte des Oeuvres cinématographique et ouvrages ou érudit de la thématique.

I love how the game parcels out its content and how it teaches you your way around Hogwarts by making you come back once you have unlocked new spells.

    Occasionally the students robes get stuck to the front of NPCs pants and sometimes    I'm 16 hours in right now. The atmosphere is fantastic. The combat is fun. The unnamed NPCs are little more than setdressing but the named ones are great.     I was very skeptical before the release of this game. They were very upfront about what the game looked like and what it would contain, but still with being burned recently by so many games, I was still weary. I can now say with full confidence that it’s absolutely fantastic! They have crafted a world that feels so alive and so true to the source material. The spells are not super flashy which I enjoy cause it does not cause to much stuff happening on screen which if you played Forspoken would fill your screen up so much you lose track of the action. On Graphics:
    I play it on PS5. I have found the Balanced setting to be the best for me and I turn off motion blur and depth of field. This makes it look cleaner with a ton of small details still showing and frame rate barely ever dipping. I am surprised on the user reviews that say it ps3 era graphics cause then I know they haven’t played it and prolly just acting as if they know based on some low quality videos. Also those that rated 3 or less must not like gaming cause this game looks beautiful. On Characters Love the interaction with other students they have a whimsy to them and even the one you don’t interact with will have side conversations that are fun to listen to. Your own character is fun to make look cool or goofy. You can alter your look regardless of loot. Once you loot an item or identify the cosmetic is instantly unlocked to apply to any other item. I currently wearing a suit of armor with a goblin helm. The house you choose only has nuanced bearing on the game so play the house you connect to. Yes I am a HufflePuff. On Story. I have seen many mixed reviews about the story. But half way through I love it simplicity but at the same time intriguing way it is being told. Sadly I will not elaborate as I won’t give spoilers. I have played some small side quest and some that are full fledged fun individual stories. Conclusion
    Though I am not doing an extensive review here. It’s only because I think you all should decide. But for me it’s a tie with GOW Ragnarok for my most enjoyment gaming in the last 2 years and above my other favorite Horizon Forbidden West. If you hate open world style games this might not be your cup of tea. For me it’s 95 percent what I love therefore 10/10 for me. That missing 5 percent are for only the few tech flaws I experienced. Thankfully they were not immersion breaking for more than a couple seconds. P.s. saw one reviewer give it a zero with saying there are loading screen everywhere. If you have not played the game don’t believe the zero point reviewers they have not played the game at all. There is no loading screen and the only loading I have noticed is when going from inside the castle to the outside and it take less than 4 seconds for the door to open. But it never goes to a separate screen    … Expand

This is a master class in Hogwarts games other wise. While I personally would have loved a sim aspect of going to class I Don't mind a "Trails Of Cold Steel" approach to schoolwork.     Optmalization on ps5 is perfect, the Quality is not bad somethimes it's reminding strong crossgen game form ps4 but the gameplay is amazing. Good job avalanche!

    The amount of detail, the lightning and the textures. Hogwarts legacy is all I asked for since I was 6. The game feels smooth on my end. Maybe some lighting glitches here and then but other that that? It’s a an amazing game. I never imagine the castle being that big. Good job devs

    AMAZING game. An absolute must for Harry Potter fans. I'm almost 20 hours into it and I can't stop playing. It's extremely addicting, the atmosphere is marvelous, the combat is fun and the exploration feels satisfying and rewarding. Not to mention the possibility to fly on a broom and many things that will make fans go absolutely crazy.

    This is not only the best Harry Pottee game ever, it’s literally Game of the Year material. Outstanding graphics, amazing characters and voice performances, great story, a magnificent open-world and more surprisingly, the combat system is a highlight! Everything about this game is perfect! The replay value is INSANE! Watch out for record breaking sales. It is THAT good!

    Everything you could want in a game set in the Harry Potter world. There are a few nitpicky things that keep me from giving it a 10/10, but those are really just a me thing. Other than those things the game is excellent. Experienced very little to no bugs on the PS5 in Fidelity mode, which is rare for games now a days.

    Amazing game! The feeling of immersion and the amazing detail is revolutionary. I haven’t had any gameplay issue and frame rate is fine. My only complaint is people think it’s funny to spoil the game online but this game is all about the gameplay and immersion so I’m enjoying it still.

The amount of details in Hogwarts is absolutely mindblowing and the world is fairly big I wish it was bigger but the amount stuff that you can do makes up for that. The combat is unique and feels awesome it's like Arkham knight but with wands. The flying in just something else and you can just lose yourself while doing it.     Great game. Has fun secrets when exploring the map and memorable NPCs. The story is good and doesn't rely on callbacks or references to other hp properties. Voice acting is well done, especially for the main villain

    This is what I wanted and so much more from a HP world game. The visuals are quite good, the game runs quite well (considering I am playing the deluxe edition 3 days before the official release - its amazing there are very few bugs overall). The world is so immersive and there is always much to do. I am 15hrs in and looking forward for more

    outstanding game with outstanding effects the combat needs to get used to the story is interesting and brilliant open world with a lot to do you can do whatever you want the character customization is a bit dull but good the different designs of clothes are Wide and good looking different wand choice is wide and overall perfect and true to the books

    The hype is real! The game is absolutely fun and I seriously can’t put the game down. I might get fired from my job because I’ve called off multiple days in a row just to finish playing the game. Btw.     Lots of complaints about the transphobia thing but you know it’s their loss honestly, they want to complain about a real good game let them, the ones who play the game will understand how great and fun it is. To my honest impression, was a bit scared that Hogwart’s Legacy hype would ruin the experience for me and it’s very rare that a game meets those expectations.     Pure perfection! Gorgeous to look at and with an endless stream of things to do and places to explore. My only tiny complaint is the lighting issues that can be noticeable when walking into a new room / area. But while that can be a bit bothersome, the sheer perfection of the world design and combat make this game a truly exceptional one and very much deserving of a 10.

    The world is wonderful, every inch there's a secret or something interesting to look. Lots of magic everywhere, feels like you're in Harry Potter movie.

    There are a couple of visual glitches but im sure they will patch them out, overall good release

I've only played about 5-6 hours so far, and the story has been pretty decent. I don't care what the people who believe JK Rowling is a bad person say about this game, because she's already a zillionaire and so it makes no difference, and all of those people are just stupid for not doing their research and looking at the original tweets. I honestly think that the little visual glitches and stuff are fine due to the fact that this, yet again, is Avalanche, so it's going to have some issues, and since there is a site to report bugs on the first page of the game's website, they should absolutely have all the bugs fixed within the first month with ease. I think that if the game gets a nice dlc to build playerbase, then it can keep that already massive playerbase for even longer than any other open world games. For a massive fan of the franchise (the books in particular) it is a dream come true and I recommend it to anyone who is, or ever has been a fan of the books/movies (but mainly the books since that's what they based the castle design off of).

    Much like modern Assassin Creed games, Hogwarts Legacy lives and dies on whether you get captured by its spectacular worldbuilding. There are clear and concrete bloatware issues and concerns, but for a Harry Potter fan it can be quite easy to ignore most of them and just dive in its impressive world, chockfull of activities and Wizarding World experiences.

    Aside from a few bugs and a bit of dodgy writing, Hogwarts Legacy is one of the most enjoyable open-world games I’ve played. Not quite Elden Ring, but it embarrasses the Assassin’s Creed games when it comes to mission variety and a sense of exploration.

A weaker main story and some unpolished elements can’t dent the armour of a mind-blowing atmosphere built through a world that feels truly alive. When it comes to world-building, this game is a true monster - a beast that will engulf you until every last corner of it is explored, and every story brought to its end.
