BarryJul 7, 2008Fun to pick up and play for a short period of time but ultimately doesn't feel very rewarding.

ToddSmithDec 13, 2008Among the best arcade games on the PSP. An overall great game in general. It's not just Space Invaders with a coat of shiny paint. It improves upon the original arcade classic in so many ways while still keeping the fundamentals which made the game a classic in the first place.

[Anonymous]May 17, 2008I played the demo and was instantly sucked in. The graphic updates and slight game mechanics make if not on par but better than the original space invaders. An this gameplay makes it a great portable. Its best played on the psp to because the ds has two screens, meaning your guy is on the bottom screen an the enemy are on the top screen it can get a little annoying.

Its minimalism, but just because something’s minimal doesn’t mean it is without soul and anyway, the graphical updates mean it’s awash with garish colour and this just about does enough to bring the title up to date – albeit to that of a modern doujin homebrew game.

Edge MagazineIt reinvents a gaming classic, and proves that the nuts-and-bolts mechanics of yesteryear can still captivate. It’s engrossing, a stiff challenge and a fine addition to a venerable history. [Apr 2008, p.97]

Electronic Gaming Monthly"Groovy," "trippy"...however you want to describe it, Extreme does right by the classic. [July 2008, p.84]
