    A fun game but with a linear storyline and repetitive levels. Fans of the comics and movies will like it but it can be boring to those that are not so fond of the Asterix and Obelix adventures.

    Asterix & Obelix XXL 3: The Crystal Menhir does a good job at capturing the classic spirit and humour of the comic book series, thanks to its fun dialogues and well polished visual environment, adding to that a marvelous vocal work. Where The Crystal Menhir does not live up to the highest standards is when it comes to its repetitive structure and mechanics, its drab plot and too simplistic gameplay. For players looking for a simple brawler and puzzler experience with the visual environment of the series, The Crystal Menhir is a good option, but for anyone looking for a more in-depth game, it's better to look elsewhere.

    The game is good, but, at certain point, there is a glitch in the PC version that prevents you from progressing trough the game.

    Nice game good graphics not always straight forward tho but is a great game to pick up and play especially in multiplayer

    Astérix et Obélix XXL 3 laisse un sentiment mitigé. Tout d’abord, le jeu est une petite merveille de respect pour l’œuvre originale. Que ce soit dans la simplicité et la cohérence des environnement parcourus mais également dans le scénario proposé, son écriture, et les dialogues entre les personnages, le jeu coche toute les cases de l’adaptation réussie et aurait clairement pu être le matériel de base à un nouvel album. Cependant, même si cela peut s’expliquer par le public (très large) visé, le jeu manque d’ambition et de profondeur dans sa proposition. Le titre est très court (entre 5h et 10h, suivant votre volonté de tout débloquer et découvrir) mais également trop simple malgré la présence d’un mode difficile. D’un certain point de vue, cette facilité et cette simplicité est cohérente avec l’oeuvre…Au niveau des bons points on pourra quand même saluer la possibilité de faire l’intégralité de l’aventure en coop 2 joueurs en local. Le jeu est quand même globalement bon et les fans d’Astérix et Obélix seront quand même très heureux d’y jouer. Les autres y verront plutôt un jeu pour les enfants (de 7 à 77ans), à acheter à petit prix en promotion.    … Full Review »
