The Bioshock Collection brings the complete Bishock package with all 3 games and DLC to Switch.

Also I'm very happy to tell you that this is a good port of the games. Switch runs Bioshock at a solid 1080p 30fps. The graphical fidelity is much closer to the PS4 version than the original PS3 version. At some points (for example with certain fire effects) it looked like there were compression artifacts but otherwise tje image was very clean.
A few minor issues that Switch owners should know is that there is no gyro support, some text and hud elements being quite small in handheld mode (as these games were originally developed for home consoles) and that all games require additional downloads as only parts of every game have been stored on the cartridge.
Overall this is a quality port of a quality game but the developers didn't go the extra mile to consider Switch specific features.

Super Solid port. Probably the best port on the console or at the very least on par with the doom port.

This is the reason I bought a switch, good ports of great third party games. Amazing work by 2k, seriously impressive to get this working well on such weak hardware. It looks infinitely better than Doom and it’s Vaseline filter resolution. The people whining about the price gladly drop 60 bucks for shallow children’s games that Nintendo rushes out every year. 50 bucks for 3 of the bestThis is the reason I bought a switch, good ports of great third party games. This port is way too expensive for the price. $50 for 3 games that are a decade old is a bit ridiculous, should be like $15 max.

One of the best ports on the switch for three of the best games ever made. This is up there with Doom 2016 for best multiplat game on Switch. Also, considering the Switch doesn't have many FPS games, it is a must buy if you are a Switch only owner. The only cons are it is quite expensive compared to other consoles and it takes up quite a lot of space (roughly 30 GB for all three games). One of the best ports on the switch for three of the best games ever made. But as far as how it runs on the Switch, I played in docked mode with a pro controller and after bumping up the sensitivity a bit it controlled absolutely buttery smooth. Expand

This baby is gaming at its best. Bioshock as series is very satisfying experience. There is tons of atmosphere. I remember being scared as I first experienced the feeling of being alone in a dead city.
Such an interesting story , exciting gameplay and the series invents different game mechanics as series goes on but honestly after finishing it all I feel like its one big awesome game.

BS: Infinity is perfect, but in the first BS developers putted a huge crosshair that destroys the pleasure of the game.

The BioShock trilogy is still three masterpieces that demand attention. While the first game hasn't aged particularly well, the sequel never got the recognition it deserved, and the third game is ultimately pretty disappointing, but they're still all worth another playthrough. The Switch port is masterfully done, smooth and crisp, and a great way to experience these games for the first time or revisit them.

If you are like me and have never played a BioShock game before, I highly recommend picking up this collection. If you played one of these games or even all of them on another console, it is still an excellent collection on the Switch. Since you get all three games and their DLC, I think it is well worth the asking price of $49.99.

If you fancy playing BioShock: The Collection for the first time or perhaps on the go, you can't really go wrong with the Switch port of the trilogy. The stories of each game strike just as well now as they did years ago, perhaps even more so in today's social and political climate, as BioShock Infinite explores the issues of racism and the fight against inequality and injustice.
