So i played this game after playing re4 and it felt like a terrible let down, the animations feels very forced and the gameplay isn't that fun if you're not playing co-op. Also Sheeva AI is very bad, she get in the middle of my shoots and just get in the middle of everything. The story is nice tho, but i would have prefer that Chris and Jill were the ones who killed Wesker but well...

Not really survival horror but more of a third-person action game with Zombies. Absolutely the low point of the series along with 6.

Skip this one (and 6) and play RE7 or the RE2 and RE3 remakes instead.

Como Resident Evil, es una absoluta basura, como juego multijugador para echar la tarde con un colega, pues ni tan mal.

Este camino fue el que decidió tomar con Resident Evil, un craso error.

Is Resident Evil 5 a good game in 2021? Depends on what you were expecting. Horror? Maybe a little, but it's mostly an action game with great co-op and an arcade-y feel to it.

The story is OK, the graphics are OK and the Gameplay is fun. I can't tell you how many times I have beaten this game from the beginning and unlocked everything. Even on professional mode the game is a fun time

Anyway, if you want a really FUN, somewhat short, addicting CO-OP game then I can't think of any better game other than Mario games of course. ;)

You will enjoy this RE5 version...this game has multi and coop modes, stunning graphics and performance. I played until the end like I did in the ps3 version!
    Great game in great system!

This game is terribly boring and slow. Poor animations and dumb controls. Don`t waste your time on it.

Just imagine "Playing Main RE Games on Portable"

Resident Evil 5 isn’t a bad game, it’s just one that was already showing its age on more powerful hardware. This is really one for the Resident Evil fans.

Taken on its own, Resident Evil 5 is a good game even though it isn't as strong as its predecessors. The more action-heavy slant will be a turn-off for those who loved the series for its puzzles, but the survival-horror elements, like limited ammo and the need to share items, retain the spirit of what made the series popular. The addition of co-op is welcome, but the lack of an easier voice chat system hurts the experience if you don't go the split-screen route. Your partner's AI is bad enough to make you hate the game if you're planning to go solo. RE5 is still worth checking out if you're a fan of the series, but you'll need to temper your expectations.

RE5 has lost none of its luster a decade later. On Switch, some of the graphical bells and whistles have been slightly diminished, but that’s offset by a bevy of control options and the ability to play the game anywhere. With plentiful modes and content to tackle, RE5 should keep fans busy for quite a while. What’s more, for series diehards there’s a ton of extra content (including an entire written history of Resident Evil) to parse through. Extra costumes, DLC, Mercenaries Mode— this is a very complete and generous package. It might be more action-focused than what came before it, but RE5 is still very much a game from the classic mold and deserves a play.
