Feb 20, 2020There’s just so much that Snack World does right for a dungeon crawler that even without having any sort of serious story it manages to be one of the best in the genre with the sheer fun variety it offers. Anyone looking for a brand new adventuring title should give Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl – Gold their time as it’s surprisingly fantastic.
-
Feb 13, 2020Our hope is that Level-5 will better support the work after its launch, smoothing its edges to make Snack World an essential title for hackers' slash lovers on Switch.
-
Mar 10, 2020Snack World combines a tongue-in-cheek story with dungeon crawling, a loot system, and roguelike mechanics to make one surprisingly fun package.
-
Mar 6, 2020Snack World is a game with a lot of potential. It could use a little more polish and a more engaging setting, but the elements are all there for a good dungeon crawler. Despite my issues with the game, I've enjoyed my time searching for treasure, and recommend that you check it out if you love a good grind.
-
Feb 28, 2020Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl – Gold offers plenty of content without taking itself too seriously, and the mix of quirky humour and looty goodness is delightful. Although the story could have been more captivating, I still enjoyed every second.
-
Feb 26, 2020Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl - Gold is a new port to the Switch that combines amazing RPG elements with a challenging dungeon crawl experience.
-
Feb 24, 2020Snack World: esploratori di dungeon – Gold is a dungeon crawler that focuses on immediacy and action, presenting itself in an unprecedented Western edition with its load of explosive humor..
-
Feb 19, 2020Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl - Gold is better than the sum of its parts. Some of those parts are frustrating, and some of them are a bit messy, but somehow, all of those parts come together to create a surprisingly pleasant and refreshing experience. Despite being laden with constant, unnecessary sexual innuendo, and despite being filled with systems upon systems of complicated menus and stats, Snack World manages to be fun above all else. And ultimately, that’s all you could really ask for.
-
Feb 14, 2020A delightful game that offers a fairytale style aesthetic, hours of roguelike dungeon crawling with plenty of replayabillity and a co-op mode that is superb albeit not available in the main campaign but only on the side quests.
-
Feb 13, 2020An atypical RPG that stands out for its sense of humor and its dungeons. It is a seemingly simple game but deep enough to keep us playing for hours completing missions, either alone or with company.
-
Feb 13, 2020Snack World: Dungeon Explorers is a game made with undoubted craft, full of humor and ready to pinch the strings of the collector hidden in each of us. The simple but not trivial action and the large number of secondary missions are, however, tormented by a rhythm that tends to weary in the long run and a lively, but technically only discreet, technical component. Remaining in the culinary sphere, Snake World won't be a chef's bite to eat, but if you're hungry you can tastefully fulfill it.
-
Feb 13, 2020Snack World serves up a beautifully presented helping of dungeon crawling, garnished with generous amounts of humour and charm. Its character is also its saving grace, because it helps keep your interest when the actual mechanics start to feel repetitive. Or, to milk the food analogy further: its outer shell is so endearing that you’ll still enjoy consuming it even when you can tell it’s starting to get a little stale.
-
Game World Navigator MagazineMar 6, 2020Snack World instantly charms you with little things, like names derived from various foods, or that your weapons get tired, so you might want to let your sword rest in the sheath for a bit before launching attack. [Issue#243, p.60]
-
Feb 13, 2020Underneath the childish, cartoony exterior, Snack World: Dungeon Crawl Gold is a funny, simple but engaging RPG that above all, will make you smile.
-
Feb 13, 2020A RPG for everyone. This is our perception about Snack World, an interesting dungeon crawler game with simple, but enjoyable, gameplay. It only fails in one important point: variety, and that's why it couldn't go further in the role playing games genre.
-
Feb 13, 2020The Snack World is a fun and truly tactical RPG featuring massive content that dungeon crawler and loot fans should enjoy but can be kind of overwhelming during the first hours of gameplay.

Feb 14, 2020Level-5's latest multimedia outing makes a belated western outing in an RPG that's eccentric, exuberant and more than a little clumsy.
