One thing that stands out about the game is the art style. Everything is flat and 2D and looks as if it could all be made from craft paper. The characters are full of life and have personality, which is surprising, considering they exist in a puzzle game. They have a range of facial expressions that make me laugh every time I play. Whether it’s a sneaky look while creeping along close to the ground or a shy blush when your partner cuts a bit of you away, the characters truly bring the game to life.

Forget 1-2-Switch or Super Bomberman R. This is the multiplayer gem that Switch so desperately needs. Smart, creative and with a very distinctive artdesign this is a beautiful cooperative puzzle extravaganza.

Solving every puzzle won’t take too long, but Snipperclips is continuously clever in its puzzle design and adorably fun to watch play. It left me eagerly waiting to reunite more frogs, put together more cat puzzles, and solve whatever other odd challenges developer SFB Games might have in mind.

The real fun of Snipperclips is in those first 45 puzzles, played with a friend over many short sessions or – as we did – in one afternoon. Once you’ve solved them, of course, there’s little reason to go back and play them again, but at £18 on a console with a currently limited catalogue, for anyone who owns a Switch this highly sociable game is a must-buy.

Snipperclips is a cute and lovely combination of puzzle and action that, despite its simple premise, delivers a massive variety of different situations to solve by simply cutting ourselves. Perfect to play with friends, also thanks to the extra minigames, but the 1 player mode could have been a bit longer.

Actually though, it's an adorable little game that's a blast to play with friends. The puzzles are creative, and it also has a blitz mode that's a bit of fun to play. I'll be bringing this game to my friend's place every time I go.

The game can beThis game is filled to the brim with character and fun little puzzles and I sure am happy to have picked up this launch title. The game can be played with from up to 1-4 players, I'd recommend to at least have a friend to play with it is a ton of fun. Albeit it's charm and cartoon look can be quite deceiving, Some of these puzzles can be challenging and really requires you to think outside of the box and use your imagination. after an hour though it does wear down and you may want to take a break it can get kind of boring. I'd recommend playing in short bursts with your friends. It's visually appealing and pleasing to look at; with its simple design and comedic faces your little characters you control make and finishing every puzzle always feels rewarding no matter how hard or easy.

It's a game I think will always have people who love puzzle games can come back to.

    PROS:
    +Intracit puzzles
    +Visually Appealing
    +Smooth Controls
    +Loads of Charm and Character
+Very fun with a group of friends

    CONS:
    -Some Linear Puzzles
-Get get old if not played in short bursts
-Not very fun to play by yourself

Completion: Finished 2-player mode. Finished ~50% of 4-player mode. Spent ~1 hour with competitive multiplayer.

    Pros: - Fun, cute
Completion: Finished 2-player mode. Finished ~50% of 4-player mode. Spent ~1 hour with competitive multiplayer.

    Pros:
    - Fun, cute artstyle that fits the game
    - Unique puzzle solving where every world contains many new ideas
    - Sound effects are adorable and add greatly to the tone of the game

    Cons:
    - A bit low on content, even for a $20 game.
    - Last world is disappointing and perhaps the least interesting out of the three.
    - Music variety is far too limited
    - Some of the mechanical aspects can be frustrating
    - Many of the 4 player stages can be boring due to several players literally not having anything to do

While Snipperclips is short, what is there is excellent. Creative and open-ended puzzle solving is spread throughout the game with very few repeated ideas in the main campaign. In all, Snipperclipps is a wonderful, albeit short, game that charms and captures the imagination.

Not a great party game. There are two things required to solve many of the puzzles: (1) figure it out (2) execute. Solving puzzles as a groupNot a great party game. There are two things required to solve many of the puzzles: (1) figure it out (2) execute.
