Starting with the Norse mythology, the player will be able to embody Odin, Thor and many more Divinities later on. Humans were bold enough to challenge the Gods and it’s up to the player to teach them a lesson! Based on real mythologies, Gods vs Humans takes the player through over 50 levels. Presenting as an unlikely but effective mix of Lemmings, Populous and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicle: My Life as a Darklord, this game also has a multiplayer mode for Homeric confrontations. Expand

Keeping humans happy so to oppress them makes for some smart, if fiddly, strategy. [Issue#232, p.89]

Although starting from a very good idea, Gods vs Humans lacks variety and after a couple of hours become easily monotonous. It's overall a good strategy game, but with its high price it can't be considered a first choice amid the WiiWare titles.

Gods vs Humans is not necessarily bad. It has some good ideas, and the gameplay is quite addictive for the first hour. Later on, it gets boring, but it's more a problem of the genre than a problem of the game. It would be even worh a try, if it wasn't for it's price tag: 1500 Wii Points is absolutely too much.

There's nothing badly wrong with Gods vs. Humans, but with 60 levels that are largely the same your interest might start to wane quite fast.

Rather than gradually introduce the many plates you have to spin, it puts them all into action at once, starting with 20 near-identical walkover levels and then spiking brutally when it assumes you've worked everything out. [Dec 2010, p.101]

Gods vs. Humans makes you feel like a schmuck, not a diety, since the incredibly efficient humans can undo all your hard work easily.

God, human, sword or soldier. Take your pick. Probably god right? Sounds like the supreme choice but even gods have their issues. This bringsGod, human, sword or soldier. Take your pick.
