    Costs way too much. Really, $70? Gaming is really becoming an extremely expensive hobby.

    Expected more from this remake. It's not as scary as when I played 2008 DS. It looks like they lowered scary atmosphere and heavily reduced gore. This, a Horror Game, contains an Optional "innovative" Trigger Warning system that will warn the player about the Scary bits and blur them out.. in Dead Space! It's like playing a pokemon game that has a option to remove/blur all pokemons if youExpected more from this remake. It's not as scary as when I played 2008 DS. Ridiculous.. there's plenty of characters, scenes and dialogues have been changed in this game for no reason when all they had to do is just upgrade the graphic. Voice acting really feels awful and actors seem bored out of their mind while speaking. There's no emotion in their voice at all. Also they added a lot of cutscenes in this remake that was not in original. At times it feels like they made it more like a movie for some reason. Immersion is low, npc move like robots. It really does feel like a cash grab. Where they put low effort in this remake so they can cash it of a good will of origin game. It's ridiculous that they charge 70$ for a 15 years old gameplay and story. Heavily disappointed in this remake.… Expand

    1080p resolution is a sad joke. Very weak textures. Price too high for such poor quality.

    piggy attitude on the part of EA. do not add at least Russian subtitles to the game , the original of which even has voice acting ! what is the problem? players are ready to buy your games , why do this with a Russian - speaking audience ?

    Dead Space is a remake done right. It builds on what the original game did well, delivering in terms of tension and environment, adding new layers as it goes. Should you be a fan of what the franchise did in the past, or are just looking to have your spine tingled, I would suggest you give Dead Space a go. And use headphones, yeah?

    Remakes are a much harder thing to pull off than remasters. The original game exists and changing things can be a scary proposition to fans. Motive Studio has done an outstanding job of tweaking what worked and fixing what didn’t. This remake is on the same level as Capcom’s efforts with Resident Evil and will be considered one of the best going forward. This is a gold standard and I truly hope we get to see them continue this work with a new game in the series, or even a remake of the second game. I love this world and hope it is truly back and here to stay.

    Dead Space (2023) is an incredible remake of a much-loved game. With improved graphics, awesome sound, and amazing tweaks to many mechanics, this has to be seen to be believed. Furthermore, the seamless transition between chapters and the enhanced AI creates an immersive and petrifying experience. Consequently, this is one remake that won't let you down.
