One of the most American movies ever made. A brilliant tale of the American Dream narrated by a simple man with simple pleasures. Hanks is at his stunning best here, and Zemeckis proved that he's more than just a technological wizard when it comes to making movies. A movie having all the essence for entertainment whether it is romance, comedy, war, adventure or drama. The film is absolutely magical and fun to watch.

A truly incredible video about a decent, humble man who met a couple presidents, fought in Vietnam, was a professional Ping Pong player, and ran around the entire country of America while meeting superstars such as John Lennon and Elvis Presley throughout his life. Good narration of the movie and an in depth feeling brought about in each character. The characters playing around had also been perfectly synchronized with Gump's life like Lt. Dan Taylor, a wonderful acting performance by Tom and Dan.
