The glamorous and vibrant palette of catchy songs and exotic places that fills up the screen largely conceals all of Happy New Year's predictability and implausibility.

Happy New Year is admittedly entertaining, fun and conjures some catchy tunes to dance to, but can't conceal the fact that it is all style without substance.
