The plot was silly and a little unrealistic, but the acting was very good, the movie was funny, the cinematography was good and it was well made. It was just pure fun.

This is a dark comedy with a fairly straight forward story, Ward's wife is a **** and most of Ward's friends think they're friend's life would be better without her. The film starts off strong with fairly good Humor and Jokes but starts to get stale a little after the midway point. The joke of Ward's wife being a horrible person wears off quick and sadly most other characters aren't very humorous.
After the unexpected death of Ward's wife the Story/Humor starts to pick up again, with the guys struggling to deal with the process of disposing of the body.Sadly once the jokes start picking up and you feel the film getting momentum...It's over, Not like it's a unexpected ending but it feels like the bulk of the real movie takes place at the end and is over before you know it.
The cast at least does a good job acting, I'm sure the rolls they are put in aren't very difficult but everyone's reactions to the disposal of the body is a good chuckle.
If your having a slow day and are looking for a comedy that's a little different compared to others or you just love "Turk" from Scrubs, "Let's Kill Wards Wife" is defiantly a option.… Expand

It's half baked affair, one that really should have worked. Patrick Wilson gives an entertaining performance, but the others look so horrified to even act mediocre. The comedy is an okay factor, the story is half baked and the whole movie fails on its premise to be a good black comedy. SomeIt's half baked affair, one that really should have worked.
