The new thriller Misconduct is getting kicked to the curb by its distributor, which is too bad, because director Shintaro Shimosawa's debut feature boasts an elegant visual style and a mystery plot with so many absurd twists that the film becomes enjoyable high melodrama.
Great film, really enjoyed the story and the twists along the way. In terms of the acting throughout...A walk in the park to watch! The reason I like this film so much is it asks the question about law and truth very well...since, what fronts for law, truly is lawless and the truth about love really comes through well in the **** me!
The truth is a common law platform upon which all human earthling counterparts of the common law orb of common law, common wealth share per member of the universal population, is completely out of synchronization with where we actually ought **** Justice going backwards or forwards and how do we know? How do we re-calibrate the universal justice system of Earth to validate all equivalent shares in the equation of life and the temporal equality of it all.
I maintain the word copyright is viably cogent to the authentic credential of every living relative we share life with in common and the common law is our awareness of this relationship between the macro and micro relativity of all credentials within and throughout the universal short, medium and long term event horizons...I believe the future is bright if humanity, this species works together to solve all the problems all the ills at precisely the same time.
The strength of a natural universal union of Earth is in each and every member of kind with a right to truth above conjecture, speculation, misappropriation or misconduct in the matter of right to life and right to kill...given I believe, the right to kill is a universal species right not an individual one, whilst the right to life is a humanitarian right of passage between two point in a common law lifespan, the copy rights of which, belong with us all, with the physical and non-physical aspects of our identity as a kind.
My solution to the ill, wrongs in the world is an international redistribution of wealth...a new world economy...a conscious, resource, knowledge based universal economic bridge, between one part of space and the next and the right upon the right calendar date the rights of future ancestors to reset the global economic platform once more, since, truth can only be projected so far, hence agreeing truth is agreeing equality, freedom and everything else the parents and grandparents promised us!
To redistribute the sustainable solution to life on Earth is to democratically hold an international universal referendum for a full course change and regulation/administration of the offices claiming to be legal...since I challenge every court on this planet to ratify the principle mechanics of universal sustainable standards transparently in an ethically appropriate and reasonable way!
Misconduct...depending upon where you are on the bent hierarchy, your living in the realm of misconduct, the realm of dis-order, an amoral civilization, a global crime scene and by no means advanced in terms of our right to a share of collective responsibility for the same ancient ancestral blueprints and secret geometry of this kind within and throughout the pattern languages of knowledge and every last one of us is a knowledge based carbon based intelligent life **** this is the **** I prove **** you?
Death occurs in two place, as does consciousness and **** physical realm and the non-physical realm and all deaths in this universal synthesis we call living are the most natural form of what is life, to overlook the significance of death within the appropriation of all legitimate and mathematical co-ordinates is to overlook the pattern language of knowledge we all share in abundance upon this great journey we all share.
If we freeze the existing economic blueprints for universal distribution, the Earth is a story of snakes and worms competing for the same ancient ancestral grounds of our birth places in the temporal signatures of liquidity in distribution. Ice age's happen, the ice melts we attain a balance, an equilibrium of order to meaning in life, copy righted to benefit all shares in the matrix of life and make economics a fixed plan for the future that can be universally transparently projected to show the quintessential basic of right within the distribution parameters of assessing quality and sanctity in life between the micro and macro earthling owners of the legacy and heritage of life upon a future...advanced Earth and it's environs...
A sustainable diet can potentially give every human the equivalent quality and sanctity of right within and throughout the financial means...whilst generating abundant employment laws for the future, given the right of one is the right of all if right is true?

Thank you if you read this far...Misconduct is a great film :)
With a lackluster, overly complicated plot and tonal inconsistencies, Misconduct underestimates its audience. Though backed by great performances, the characters never break out of their poorly-written constructions. The directing, lighting and acting are the only reasons to watch.
“We tell ourselves stories in order to live,” Joan Didion once said. And yet, watching Misconduct, a twisty but exceptionally bone-headed—one might even say cretinous—legal thriller, sitting through its story hardly felt like “living.”
This clumsy, poorly written action thriller is such a complete catastrophe that you wonder how actors with the stature of Mr. Hopkins and Mr. Pacino were bamboozled into appearing in it.
With such clear visual and talented cast, it's a truly misfortune that the result is an agonizingly boring spectacle.
When first seeing the cast of Josh Duhamel, Al Pacino and Anthony Hopkins, among others, one would expect an intense thriller, yet "Misconduct" is an arbitrary endeavor that has seriously crippling pace and lacking any suspense. It may look nice at first, potentially promising a wit exchange, yet it's painfully slow and honestly a shallow display of crime drama.
Ben (Josh Duhamel) is contacted by her unstable ex-girlfriend who has secret files about her billionaire boss. He takes this chance without knowing that he'll walk on a series of increasingly dangerous conspiracy. The line-up is riddled with famous names, yet their performance is inconsistent. Duhamel looks decent for a leading role, although he doesn't have the poise or sense of urgency when the moments call for it.
The chemistry between him and veterans like Al Pacino and Anthony Hopkins is also shaky. There are some good thrilling moments, yet there are also times when they look ironically silly as though impersonating plot from Law and Order. Female characters share the same fate of incompatibility. Julie Stiles as the operator only appears too cocky for the tough female stereotype.
Meanwhile, Malin Akerman and Alice Eve are seemingly trapped in love triangle gig, and not a good one at that. Its attempt to showcase debauchery is appreciated, yet there's barely any passion involved here. Byung-hun Lee makes a supporting role, and it's quite intriguing when he makes an entrance, yet his character feels underutilized and only serves as a glorified henchman. When they interact it creates a tangled web of a plot.
It does have clear cinematography and direction to portray vices such as greed and lust, yet it shifts significantly slow between unintentionally detached characters that ultimately become mundane and restricting.
Mediocre film with excellent cast. Like most people, I only started watching the film because of the cast. The plot itself seems interesting and naughty at the beginning, but all this collapses in 30 minutes. Al Pacino and Anthony Hopkins could pull the film, but no. They played almost cartoon characters. One plays a translated nerdy grandfather, the other plays a devil boss. It only finally gets into a longing, the only thing surprising about this movie is the answer to the question of who killed Emily. From the advantages it is possible to answer only the absence of positive characters.
Really boring movie. The story actually wasn't that bad but it was shown so badly and I felt asleep so many times when watching it that I had to rewatch it 3 times. The actors are actually pretty great in it, but I think the director or whoever has made this movie almost unwatchable. Rating 3 is just because the story is ok and the cast is talented.
Misconduct is actually misconduct for once. Another movie to describe its title as a review. There must be a lot of that, but for now, let's just explain what this movie is like in a few words. A sin from the filmmakers.
Monstrous Misfire more like it! Shocking on all levels, script, cinematography, direction (if it could qualify for that), performances, etc, etc...I never want to see Pacino or Hopkins in anything ever again, has-beens, trading their past for by the numbers drink money (like Morgan Freeman) – shame on them. They don’t come too much worse than this rot. Ugly ideas, from ugly minded sludge writers. If it’s offered to you run screaming for the refuge bin before your brain turns to mulch. All that’s missing is Tarantino! but, even he’s there in copy mode.
