City on a Hill will now premiere its third season July 31 at 10 p.m. on Showtime.

The drama series was originally scheduled to return on July 10 but was pushed back due to "scheduling shifts," said the network. It stars Kevin Bacon and Aldis Hodge, with season three seeing Bacon's character, Jackie Rohr, no longer working for the FBI and instead running the security team for a wealthy Beacon Hill family.

That's right, City on a Hill Season 3 is heading to Boston's high society.

"Oh how far the mighty have fallen," the trailer, which you can watch below, says.

However, for all of their wealth, they have just as many secrets, which, of course, begin to unravel, complicating Jackie's new position.

Meanwhile ADA Decourcy Ward (Hodge) finally feels he has an opportunity to fix a broken justice system. But when Siobhan Quays (Lauren E. Banks), begins representing a construction worker who was injured on a big city job, the city's corruption comes to light for her at the worst possible time (while she's trying to cope with past traumatic events). Naturally, cleaning up the dirty Boston streets is much easier said than done.

"I'll light the match and you stoke the flame," Jackie says to Decourcy.

City on a Hill also stars Jill Hennessy and Matthew Del Negro. Season 3 guest stars include Corbin Bernsen, Joanne Kelly, and Ernie Hudson.

The show, which thus far has a Metascore of 65, is executive produced by Tom Fontana, who also serves as showrunner; Jennifer Todd; Jorge Zamacona; Bacon; Hodge; Ben Affleck; Matt Damon; and Barry Levinson. Season 3 will feature eight episodes.
