Alison Wall

Biography: Born in 1966, Alison Wall is a Kiwi actress who has become quite a fan favourite on the show Xena Warrior Princess, and appears in five episodes. Alison also appeared on Young Hercules and did some of the voices for the feature Hercules and Xena:The Battle for Mount Olympus cartoon. Alison is a veteran writer and performer of comedy, she was a core cast member on TV's Issuses 1 & 2, That Comedy Show 1 & 2 , and Comedy Central. In 1990, Alison was one of the founding members of the improvisation group The Improvisors. She and her fellow Improvisors won the National Theatresports title in 1989 with Annie Ruth as "Otherwise Fine" - this was the first of many National titles that performers from The Improvisors were to win in the early 90s. At the TV Guide 1998 Television Awards of New Zealand, Alison won the award for Best Performance in a Comedy for her role as Minya on Xena. Her hobbies include glass sculpture, and she enjoys studying architecture.
