Charita Bauer
Biography:
Charita Bauer was a radio and television actress best known for playing the part of "Bert Bauer" on the CBS daytime drama Guiding Light.
Charita had the distinction of playing the single character the longest in broadcast history, having joined the cast of Guiding Light in 1950 and remaining with them until 1984.
After her death in 1985, an episode of the show was dedicated to her memory.
