Chip Arndt

Biography: Willis "Chip" Arndt has been DH1's Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer since April 2002. He served as the President of Tribe Enterprises Limited and Tribe USA, the U.S. subsidiaries of an Australia-based new media company with strategic investors Diageo Group (London), United Distillers, and JP Morgan. Before his tenure at Tribe, he directed strategic and business development for Oneblueeye Media, an Internet content company headed by co-founder of PIXAR Entertainment and producer of "Toy Story" and "Toy Story 2."
Chip started in the entertainment business in 1997 with Steve Tisch and then managed writers and feature film talent through his own production company. His projects as an independent film producer and manager included the award-winning film Urbania (2000). From 1991 through 1995, Mr. Arndt served as a senior analyst for Morgan Stanley & Company in Hong Kong, New York, and Washington, DC. He personally worked to raise over US$5bn of financings in France,

He lived in Hong Kong for three years, in Paris for six months and in London for two years.

He married Richard "Reichen" Lehmkuhl on February 2, 2002 in a ceremony held at the Hotel Bel Air in Los Angeles, California. The married gay couple lived together in Hermosa Beach, California.

Chip, together with Reichen, won the $1 million grand prize in season four of the reality TV show, The Amazing Race. His CBS bio states that he loves hiking in the mountains and participating in triathlons. He is in great physical shape. He describes himself as "determined, free thinking and mindful." He says he is like Winston Churchill: "steady... never say no; anything is possible."

On September 30, 2003, Reichen and Chip officially announced their break-up to the members of AllAboutRC, and their break-up became an issue on several forums, news, and articles online.
He speaks English and French.
