David Dean

Biography: David Dean is a three-time Emmy-award-nominated editor and writer. He spent ten years editing six public television series for the food and travel host Burt Wolf; many episodes that he edited of "Travels and Traditions" are still on the air. In 2002 he became Senior Editor at PineRidge Film and Television, where he edited nearly a hundred episodes of the Samantha Brown Travel Channel series "Great Hotels," "Passport to Europe," and "Passport to Latin America." Two episodes of these series that he edited won Emmy Awards for Outstanding Directing. While at PineRidge he also wrote and edited two hour-long specials for the Travel Channel, "Secrets of the International Spy Museum" and "Washington DC - City of Spies," as well as several specials at Disney World featuring Ms. Brown. Most recently David has edited and written multiple episodes of the Emmy-award-winning syndicated series "Jack Hanna's Into The Wild" for Spectrum Productions.
